Brave Galaxy is set in a world loosely based on Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail and Eden’s Zero. It is a PG-13 or so rated space fantasy RP, and uses a combination of character statistics, which can be acquired via roleplaying and events, and creative freedom to help direct players’ characters. While there is a main storyline, which can be found in the events section, characters are free to interact with others and their environment however they see fit.
Explore the galaxy. Overcome the obstacles in your path. Shape the future of humanity.

He rubbed his temple, staring at her utterly unimpressed. "I don't care if you can defend yourself or not, my point is the only thing stopping you from running away right now are your stilettos," Leo responded, deadpan. "And, for the record, you're only going to get in my way, but since you're obviously set on being a pain in the ass would you please hand me that book?" He extended his hand, a pleasant smile present on his visage although it just barely masked the vexation laced beneath. His curiosity got the best of him in the end, however, and although a part of him wanted nothing more than to throw the text over one shoulder, walk away, and march straight back down to the pavilion to murder all its inhabitants, Leo instead flipped to the first page, scanning for a brief moment before he shut it, glancing up and down the street.
"We should get out of the open; this is not an ideal place to have a literary discussion," he remarked, the hint of a jest present. Not waiting for an answer, Leo ducked into a nearby hut, only the smoldering of embers in a pit and a few unoccupied benches present. He then sat down and began to read, the light far too low for the average sight to pierce any lettering. Of course, he had no issue, and after thumbing through a few pages found a passage of particular interest. Leo promptly held the book toward Veruka and pointed at the paragraph, before frowning, recognizing his mistake. "Right, yeah. This basically says the Circle of Mire, that is the name of the cult I believe, worships some sort of entity or entities who live below. I originally thought that was only a metaphor, but looking at the 'displays of power' they have recounted I think it might be literal."
He paused, delving further into the writing. It was a short tome, for the sect in itself seems rather, well, simpleton. Even in the scant few pages, however, it was evident that the author was at least a bit mad, if not by the subject matter itself then by the inconsistencies present when referencing the being they revered. There was no name given, nor even a true title. Thus, it was impossible for Leo to accurately cross reference the cult with any of the others he had come across before, although he had a few rising suspicions. The last chapter turned out to be most relevant to Veruka, though, and with that Leo began again. "They are not sacrificing you, so to speak. They want to use you as a vessel to give the entity a new life. From the looks of it, they believe in return they will be granted great power, but honestly I think these cultists are delusional. And before you say that's obvious, there is quite clearly something supernatural at play in this region, swamps don't just go around collecting rotten magic."
“Ah not sacrifice me, just kill me so their dumb little demons can inhabit my body” she snapped, “fantastic”. She walked over to the glowing rocks in the pit, staring deeply into them. Her hands curled to fists, she wanted this whole town in flames. Bright brilliant flames ripping through the town as she watched the Mother burn. Oh how lovely her screams would sound. One foot after the other, that's what kept her going as she paced around the small tent. Reality seemed to finally set in. Death certainly was a possibility.
Still in a fit of rage, she plopped back down in front of Leo, and took the book back. She frantically began flipping through pages, seeing virtually nothing. Understanding the pointlessness of her efforts, she handed the book back. “Well, do they have a weakness?” she rose “There must be something that can help us here!”. Leo's tranquil nature in regards to the whole ordeal both annoyed and comforted her. His calmness meant he felt confident in his abilities, but her own life was also on the line! Even though her life meant next to nothing, it still slightly irked her. She turned facing back at him. “You obviously have some sort of plan here, or know something I don't” , she sat back down “don't you think now would be an appropriate time to fill me in?”

Veruka's panic was amusing, her impatience only a sign of her immaturity. He returned the book to her with a congenial smile, and as she realized how fruitless her endeavor was Leo let out a chuckle, shaking his head. "You don't need a book to determine their weaknesses. Use your eyes," he responded. "This is not a militant town, the vast majority of its citizens are only leeches clinging to the promise of power. The only individual I would be mildly concerned with would be the Mother, and since you're sticking around maybe you can be of some use there." Ah yes, a plan. Those were pretty useful when one had to coordinate with others, weren't they? Truth to be told, Leo didn't really think one was necessary at that point, but Veruka was clearly at least a bit on edge about their whole situation, and it was likely that she was going to interfere with what vague scheme he had otherwise.
"All you need to do is continue to play the part of a clueless girl so the element of surprise we currently have isn't completely broken. While the rest of the night's activities aren't exactly clear, I do know they plan on throwing you into a great pit outside of the village, and that all of the cultists will be in close proximity at that point. If you'd like, go ahead and ascertain some details on how exactly the Mother exerts her power, but do not, under any circumstance, get caught. I'll rescue you from your demise, try my very hardest to talk them out of their worship, and when that inevitably goes south blast them into oblivion."
His eyes narrowed, and while Leo was not necessarily conveying his words in a joking matter previously, his body suddenly grew very still, grave expression unable to be hidden from Veruka. "Once I drop you off, get as far away from me as possible. Do you understand?" It was posed less as a question and more a command, yellow stare piercing through the dim light. From his hand the book vanished from sight, to be dissected later, perhaps, although it was more likely to collect dust on a shelf forevermore. "Well then, I believe we have a carnival to get back to."
