Brave Galaxy is set in a world loosely based on Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail and Eden’s Zero. It is a PG-13 or so rated space fantasy RP, and uses a combination of character statistics, which can be acquired via roleplaying and events, and creative freedom to help direct players’ characters. While there is a main storyline, which can be found in the events section, characters are free to interact with others and their environment however they see fit.
Explore the galaxy. Overcome the obstacles in your path. Shape the future of humanity.
Carefully approaching the factory, presently with it's security measures disabled, Laelynn made quick work of the fence guarding the facility, scaling it with obvious ease and experience, clearly visible in every movement she made. One of the few perks of being forced to grow up as a career thief for a living.~ After casually making her way over the barrier of wired fence, Laelynn leaped off the very top, landing gently with cat like grace, placing a single finger on her helmet and applying pressure on a specific button. "Hey P.A.L, area's still clear from your scans, right?" "Affirmative." With a nod of assurance from her A.I. companion, Laelynn made her way to the next mediocre obstacle, one of the main entrances.
Of course, most thieves would use a window or the roof, but with all the security cameras and sensors offline, Laelynn preferred diving right into the heart of the matter. At first, she glanced over the door, crouching, standing, tilting her head, and observing every detail she could before finally, the gears clicked into place. "Ah, I see.~ A TS-07 model, pretty good.~" She whispered in a non sarcastic manner, noting it was pretty standard and solid security. Yet, using her suits built in storage system, she manifested a set of basic lock picking tools, a childish grin growing on her visage behind the mask. "Not good enough though.~" With that, she immediately went to work, using the combination of her tech savviness with her acute dexterity to break through, one step at a time.
Each little click progressed the procedure, slowly, but surely, each little twist of the pick inching Laelynn closer to her prize, slooow and steaady.~ It may have been an industry grade lock to most but for Laelynn? A mere inconvenience at best, her years of experience thieving from a young age having left her all too prepared. With a final, louder click, Laelynn smirked behind her mask, her tools disappearing back into the suit's pocket dimension storage in yet another flash. //Bingo.~//
With a casual confidence, she grasped the handle, applying pressure as the door smoothly opened without a noise, revealing the inner workings of the factory. Dimly lit with almost no light, save for Laelynn's visor and the natural shine of lunar light from the planets two moons, cascading through the various windows and skylight high above. Various metal vats lined the facility, along with countless boxes, obviously prepared for shipping once the planet's holiday was over. Though labyrinthian in nature to most, Laelynn's experienced always carried her through, fairly sure she'd find her target and be out cleanly before dawn. But where, oh where to start looking...?
Laelynn carefully creeped through the facility with delicate steps, not one bit deterred die to her careful deactivation of the facilities security measures. Darkness and shadows were the majority of her sight, but due to years of experience, training, and intuition, she made her way just fine, leaving zero fingerprints due to the suit, eventually finding a doorway in the side of the production facility, with a tell-tale sign labeled "Promotional Sector." //What idiots.~// She mused, wondering the logic of labeling clearly where limited time, valuable information was to be located.
With yet just another minute, a few clicks, a snap, and a pleasant, yet low creaking sound to her chagrin, credit to poor maintenance, Laelynn slipped her way in without a care in the world, being promptly rewarded with various wooden crates upon crates, stacked upon one another, labeled simple "Mango Habanero Queso." //Jackpot.~// With a happy grin behind her illuminated mask, she moved forward, analyzing the closest box and taking into account structural weak points. Soon, all it's contents would be hers, and she'd be flying off pretty with a huge shipment of the elusive sauce, no one the wiser.~ At this point, absolutely nothing could go wrong for her, right? ...Riiiight?~

After a brief analysis, Laelynn was easily capable of picking off how to best open the sealed crate, easing off the protective measures carefully. Inside, lay her golden treasure, package after package of the elusive queso sauce which she sought for over a day now. //I'll just be grabbing these.~// She mused internally, greedily grabbing pack after pack, each one disappearing in a flash as her suit transferred it into the internal storage system. //When I think about it, why's there a supply issue if they have so much here in the factory? ...Ah well, doesn't matter.~// Shrugging off her thoughts on the matter, she grabbed a few more, attempting to bring her suit to it's limit of storage. And then, absent-mindedly grabbing more packets, she saw a nearby terminal, temptation and greed ringing in the corner of her mind.
//I mean, if I found the recipe, I'd never run out...or maybe could sell it for a high price.~// It wasn't long after she immediately kicked on the terminal, a dim light illuminating from the screen as she quickly broke her way past the required password and credential verifications. In less than five minutes, she found herself deep in the companies local database, perusing their files, specifically the document on the recipe for the mango infused habanero queso. //Wait, that's in there? Not sure that's safe...as long as it's good though.~// Noting the more or less shady preservatives used, Laelynn shrugged, carefully dedicating the details to her memory. Yet, things were never so easy, and her attention was interrupted just as she finished reading. A slow, steady rhythm, a set of steps, of metal gently clanging on the stone floors, and with that, Laelynn's heart sank. What did she get herself into now?!

With a kick in her heels from instinct, Laelynn dipped behind the nearest desk, almost curling up into a ball as she lowered her profile, pressing a small button on the side of her helmet, whispering ever so quietly. "P.A.L, what the fuck?! I thought you said this place would be empty!" "Correction: I stated most biologicals would not be present due to the planet's holiday." "Worthless A.I..." Laelynn muttered, not quite realizing the irony in that the AI's capabilities were over ninety percent based on her own skill as a programmer at the current moment. Instead, she was more focused on escaping unnecessary attention.
Peeking past the corner of the computer desk, Laelynn took note of it, the source of the metal anomaly, a single security robot, humanoid in form, a rifle of sorts hoisted upright with both arms as a soldier would. "Abnormal activity...Detected. Scanning Area..." As it's cold, unfeeling statement was made, Laelynn tucked her head back sheepishly, carefully considering her options. Fight, or flee? If she fled, she risked the automaton having video footage of her, and leaking the secret that the infamous "Cat Burglar" of Elseima was back in action. Yet, if she fought, she had no idea how well equipped the machine truly was, and it'd be a gamble.
Laelynn's breath held for a moment, observing the metallic figure get closer and closer, though slim in nature, a sleek design, a robot obviously designed for combat to Laelynn's analysis, it's sensor being a single, glowing, red eye of sorts, it's head similar to a shark. //Not good...// She mused, still hiding behind the desk, gripping her knees in a fetal position. She felt cornered, even hopeless, yet, no...This wasn't the most prudent action, she needed to get herself together! What would she do? How would she protect herself?!
With every second, the robotic weapon stepped, that ominous red eye, scanning for any sign of movement as Laelynn slowed her breathing to a near almost halt, slow and steady. //I only got one chance here...// She mused, and with that, in a flash, she drew her daggers directly from her suit. She remembered the old stories her mother told her, of Jaxus' power, his ingenuity, his clever on the moment actions. She may not be a hero, but she was the daughter of one! She'd figure this out, even if it brought her to the limit! Looking over through the corner of the desk, she tightly held her daggers in reverse grip, carefully observing each and every move. With the determination of her father, and the martial teachings of Leonidas and Eris, maybe, just *maybe* she could get through this...

//Just calm down, do this to the book...// Laelynn mentally muttered to herself, while she had experience in using her daggers against others as a deterrent, she never really truly had a real fight. She kept still, slowing her breathing, lowering her prescence as much as humanly possible, yet the robotic steps relentlessly approached to the glowing terminal, ever so closer. As the automaton came within a mere ten feet of the desk, she made her move. Dashing out from behind the desk, tumble rolling in the process, lunged out as she got back to her feet, stabbing straight for a single one of the arm joints, attempting to disarm it, sparks flashing through the air as a result, yet to no effect.
"Hostile Force Confirmed. Unlocking defense protocols." As the emotionless machine stated this, Laelynn's eyes went wide as it released the hold of it's gun with one hand, it's cold steel grip grappling into her wrist and with an abrupt force, upheaving her from the ground with little effort, tossing her aside like a bag of potatos. "Shiiiiit!" Crack! Laelynn yelled as she was thrown head on into a nearby shipping crate, the wood unleashing a loud snap upon impact, her daggers dropping to the floor. //Surrender to detainment, or lethal force will be authorized.// Yet and still, Laelynn rose, grabbing a the single dagger left in arms reach, surprisingly unaffected from the throw, as her Aegis system had been deployed just in time to mitigate most of the damage. She doggedly stared down the machine, half contemplating how a simple heist like this could get her into such a situation, the other half of her focus determined on finding it's weaknesses. It had to have one, even military grade robots had a flaw or two! She just needed to find it...
Laelynn took a deep breath, eyes zeroing in upon the foe in front of her. With the refreshment of air in her lungs, fueling her sharp mind, Laelynn had a moment of clarity, noticing the hinges upon the robot's arm. She worked with cybernetics her entire life, she spent hundreds, of not, hours of time working with machines, and in this moment, in paid off, noting the faulty limb attachment upon the robot. Leave it to big corporate to cut costs.~ With a grin under her mask, she raised her knife, baiting the robotic enemy to shoot as she kicked off the ground as fast as she could, dashing to her left as a spread of bullets tattered the ground around her, a few occasional stray shots pelting her armor, a few even hitting hard enough to bruise her!
"Shit!" She quietly muttered, leaping straight into a dashing kick slide and ducking under a pile of shipping crates, the bullets slowly wearing through the material, a few bullets blowing clear through the opposite side of the crate, packets of the very same coveted cheese sauce pouring out, causing Laelynn's cheeky grin to grow even larger. Whoever made these security robots were obviously amateurs, and while she was fully aware that she was no fighter like her father, this field...was where she shined!~ //Get ready for a lesson in good engineering Taco King, not like you'll be able to recover the records.~// She mused to herself mentally, crouched down and gripping a handful of queso packets in each hand. Other than the sloppily put together limbs, Laelynn had already deduced the robot's biggest flaw from experience and observation...It only had one optical sensor, and she intended to exploit the hell out of that!~

Laelynn carefully gripped the queso sauce packets, using her thighs and legs to gather up more of the packets that had fallen around her, all while more and more bullets ripped through the air, puncturing the wooden shipping box she hid behind! Yet, she didn't relent in the slightest! If there was anything the Morbane family excelled in...it was improvising! Gathering what she could, she waited for her chance, when the security robot was forced to reload after it's volley, then, then it was her time to strike! As soon as the gun winded down, she smiled behind her mask, noting the models make and apparent ammo capacity. //Reloading should be done in five seconds from now, so that means...// Immediately, holding as many packets of sauce as she could carry, Laelynn stood up, her Emoji system grinning in a cheeky fashion.
"Hey! Catch!" Timing her one liner to the reloading capacity of the robotic foe, Laelynn showered a massive heft of Queso packets towards right as the robot was primed to go, ducking down immediately as bullets filled the air, releasing that sacred cheese sauce *everywhere!* Yet, she wasn't done, hurling another volley with two hands in an under-throw style motion, more bullets filling the air and breaking the packages as they flew toward the target! Just as planned, the primitive security droid shot at whatever moved in combat mode, breaking countless packages, and splattering queso all over it's optical sensor, even working it's way into the crevices of it's armor and arm joints, sparks brightly flashing from it's torso as a result! With a quick peek from behind her crate barrier, Laelynn could only grin behind her mysterious mask. All according to plan!~

"Error! Error! Optical Sensors failing...!" As more sparks flew from the robot now doused in queso, attempting in a sloppy, jagged fashion to move it's arms to wipe away the cheesy sauce, Laelynn had already made her move, dashing out from her crouched position behind the boxes like a feral cat on the prowl! Noting the sudden sound of footsteps, the robot followed it's programming, blindly shooting randomly in her general directly, only succeeding in blowing apart a few more crates in the process! //Such sloppy work...~// Laelynn noted mentally, deftly sliding behind another set of crates much closer to the automaton. Only a single optical sensor, audio sensors with no built in acoustic recalibration, just so, soooo poorly built!~ Not like she cared *too much,* as it worked in her favor, it was just amusing in her mind that she could build something better than a huge company in less than a week without a factory using recycling alone. As the robot back tracked, still fruitlessly attempting to wipe away the queso, Laelynn quickly dashed behind it, her single ether bladed dagger in hand.
Despite a desperate, back handed strike by the robot, it's rigid, malfunctioning joints squarely missed, flying over her head, to which, she immediately punished, slamming her dagger into it's shoulder joint, twisting and applying as much pressure as she could muster using her leverage, applying her knowledge of physics, and ripping it's gun arm straight out of the socket! //Can't blame'em though...// With a quick follow up, she thrust the very same dagger into the machines chest twice, using her third strike to drop down, cutting deeply into the wires of it's leg as it fell squarely to the ground, now forced to kneel upon the ground in front of her. With two hands, Laelynn mustered all of her force as the incredibly sharp, ether lined blade was driven straight into the robot's head, the flicker of lights barely visible behind the layer of cheese sauce as it slumped over, deactivated. Her emoji system changing to a very, *very* smug and happy cat, Laelynn turned her back to the robot, returning to the computer terminal she was once at before the interruption, a confident, very prideful sway in her step.~ "It is hard being as good as me after all.~"
