Words even though they were not audible seemed to get through. As Vi heard the words to close her eyes she turned away from looking at the door not sure what was going to happen but at that point she didn't care as this nightmare might finally be over. This seemed unreal but it was must not be as she had heard his voice.
As the door that she had been locked away had been destroyed stood a figure she didn't understand. This was her cousin right? Or was this just some demon here to kill her? Even if this meant her death at this point it would be better than being trapped here, she even welcomed it. Only possibility that could be worse if he was working with his father which meant that this nightmare had just begun and even though she couldn't help but think that she was still hopeful.
On the ground with little to no strength to move she stared up at her cousin. Vi was a mess to look at, her hair had not been kept as it was in bunch of knots and had "grown" long enough where it would touch the floor from her sitting on the ground. Blue in shade she would look completely different from anything Haydn would remember. Not that she could remember what she looked like, probably even without her memories being as fractured as they were. Her clothes were now more dusty with the door being destroyed.
Not even knowing what came over her she tried leaping for joy to her cousin. Both her legs and feet were not in the shape so she was stumbling by even trying to get up and then she snagged herself on the tube in her back. It was connected directly into her core. It was what was keeping her alive as it pumped some strange liquid into her back or least that is what she knew. As it was alcohol that kept the machine parts inside of her core running and they kept insides running as her essence was more of a small egg like shell that hosted a bunch of machines and organs that was now her existence. Not that she even knew what they looked liked or would ever want to see the dis-figuration that is now her true form.
That snagging caused an immense amount of pain as she screamed out. The tube was what kept her there. It was not hard to remove by an outsider but for Viji it was impossible. She could not do the simple things that needed to be done to take out the tube on her back. The mechanism that kept it in place was similar to a medicine container meant to keep kids out.
Now on the ground laying looking up at her cousin she cried as she spoke "Hay hay is that really you?" it wasn't something she had called her cousin in about two decades not since they were little. Words felt natural as she said them. With everything that was going on she was slowly losing herself. Not losing consciousness but on a psychological level.
Violet on the other hand could reach Haydn as she still couldn't speak but pawed at his foot. Though there was no contact it was like trying to show that Vi needed help as it was drastically trying to reach out. Not that it knew better on what was an unknown being or what was a human as it had no real contact with anything but Viji.
