Encyclopedia Guide

General Submission
If you have a lore submission you'd like to put into the Encyclopedia, whether it be big or small, you must first submit it into its proper category with the tag [Proposed] or something of the like next to your lore entry. Make sure to follow the templates for each write-up, although you may add more if you wish. Then, a dedicated staff member will look over it to ensure it doesn't conflict or simply re-iterate any other lore previously created. If they find anything concerning, they will comment on your piece and request it to be edited in some way, shape, or form. Otherwise, they will give it the stamp of approval and removed the [Proposed] tag from your submission. Your lore is now site canon!

Petitioning Process
If your piece of lore is a country or organization, you may be thinking, "How can I get on that page where the big countries and organizations are stored?" Don't you worry, you can actually get on that page! You may submit a petition to an admin, linking your country or organization, and from there one or several staff members will evaluate if your lore is unique or significant enough to warrant being in the general page and potentially even having it's very own sub-board! So, what are the general things staff look at?

• Is your country/organization unique, or is it just a similar concept to another already in the major category?
• Is your country/organization universal enough so that players will be interested in it, or is it something you created for your character in specific?
• Is your country/organization large enough ICly so that it would be recognized by most characters in BG?
• Does your country/organization fit the general theme of BG?

Lastly, it might not be that your petition doesn't meet these requirements, it might just be that there have been too many countries or organizations given petitions lately and that you will be requested to submit your lore again at another time. As staff tries to accommodate all major lore into the main site story, it might be that there is not enough room in a current plot to do your country/organization justice quite yet.
