Brave Galaxy is set in a world loosely based on Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail and Eden’s Zero. It is a PG-13 or so rated space fantasy RP, and uses a combination of character statistics, which can be acquired via roleplaying and events, and creative freedom to help direct players’ characters. While there is a main storyline, which can be found in the events section, characters are free to interact with others and their environment however they see fit.
Explore the galaxy. Overcome the obstacles in your path. Shape the future of humanity.
As he spun, Blood's Tear was in Emily's hand and when he faced her, she was resting the blade there easily. "I won't make it easy for you if you want to try to murder me, you know." She spun the blade around and kept tapping it into the palm of her other hand.
At the sound of his name, the redhead paused and her brow furrowed in concentration. She kept tapping the serrated blade against her other palm as she considered what he'd said. "Leonidas...Leo! Yeah I knew a Leo once. He was kinda like you...kinda..."
His next comment made her laugh. "I can't help it though. Whatever you've got, I want. That's why I'm looking at you. So I guess maybe I knew you back...well back in time...I wonder how I did and what you were like."
He was trying to walk away from her, but Emily wasn't having any of that. She kept right up with him, now determined to investigate and learn as much as she could from him. As a long-term seeker of ancient and illicit powers, the crimson-haired psychopath had found another source of real power.

She was slow, he could tell that much, at least in comparison to himself. Leo glanced down at the dagger in her hand, raising an eyebrow in amusement as a single chortled note followed. Its serrated blade was deadly, most certainly, but he had always wondering why others chose to utilize such petite weapons of murder when there were others so much more efficient in their craft. A knife required a certain intimacy, he supposed, but at that point why not just use one's own bare hands? Then again, it was all a matter of personal preference, though, in the end death was death all the same.
Had they really known each other? Undoubtedly her presence was human, that much was certain, although her actions and words were at the very least sociopathic in nature it factored little into his rational judgement of her. And had they met recently, she obviously would have recognized his appearance before his voice. "You're from Earthland?" Leo asked, head tilting to one side in his presumption. "It's strange, there seems to have been a lot more of the traveled appearing lately. Or perhaps it's just my imagination, I seem to be getting old." He coughed for a moment, glancing back with a short grin as if to confirm her suspicions, before it fell from his visage. That was not all she was looking for, then, how unfortunate, while reminiscence was generally something he avoided it was clear she was not connected to one of his less than favorable memories, elsewise he would have been able to conjure something more than a vague familiarity.
Leo sighed, stride grinding to a halt as he found himself in a dim corridor, light from the stars blocked by the skyscrapers above. "By all means, if I could give away this pain in the ass I would. That's not how it works," he replied, back finding a brick wall as he leaned against it, closing his eyes for a moment as the darkness at last receded from his grasp, a momentary flicker of pain displayed on his features before he reached into a pocket, white gauze contained within.
Emily giggled and pointed, "Look! You've got claws!"
She twirled a little pirouette in front of him and bowed. "Oh please, please sir! Don't kill a sweet, innocent little girl like me!"
There was a hint of derision in her giggle as she saw the rage in him, the rage he fought to tamp down like a weakling. If she were him, she would have gutted her by now. However, her expression became very alert as his name was mentioned. "Leonidas Aglaeca...yes...from another world. Another time even! Somewhere in there's a memory. I knew you. We...were somewhere together..."
Losing interest, she poked him in the (rather hard) stomach and shook her head. "Looking at you like what? Anywho....what do you do around this neck of the woods? WHO do you kill and WHERE do you do it?"
Again she spun away, dancing like a mad top down the street before circling back in front of Leo. Her face was childlike but there was something flickering darkly and quite insanely behind her luminous green eyes.

He drew in a breath, then another, so close to the banishment of the void, but then the girl's actions changed. Even in the right mindset, even unclouded by the maddening desires that encompassed his being, he would have flicked out a jab or blade against her. She had the audacity to prod at him, as if it was all only a game and he was no threat to her... how dare the girl do such? How dare she interrupt his evening? He blinked once, then twice, a crimson stare directed at her, every piece of information about her being processed in his mind yet all only done so with a singular intent.
"You and here, apparently," Leo replied, voice barely even managing the Fioran as it was caught in another, harsher tongue.
In his hand appeared a weapon that Emily would perhaps find familiar, its blade ending in a jagged break only about a half a foot or so from its hilt. Yes, once a worthless relic of a bygone age, Calamitas now glimmered with a blackened light, the void extending to a wicked point that tapered off a more complete weapon. With a snap of his wrist his blade assumed a near ward, tip trailing ever so slightly behind him as he approached the girl. His gait was not swift yet menacing, a certain prowess that suggested he was only toying with her. A sudden, almost erratic sweep upward was then delivered, a vicious cut across her abdomen and chest his intent. It would be followed up with a jab toward her trachea, his left hand at that point also placed upon Calamitas.
All the while, he ignored, or perhaps didn't even register, the silent call ringing at his side.
Vokius - 5 Reaching out to the void that had long ago devoured most of Calamitas’s blade, Leo is capable of reforming a shadowy replica of it which appears to have an almost indefinite edge, although this is far from the case as the darkness takes on a durability identical to the rest of the sword itself. Lengthening Calamitas altogether to 45”, every strike with the extended part of the blade also deals severe damage to whoever or whatever the target may be, excluding Leo himself. Duration of 4 posts, cooldown of 2 posts. Alternatively, Leo may choose to simply form the blade itself without additional damage, in which case Vokius has an infinite duration, although once dismissed it still endures a cooldown of 2 posts. Limited duration with damage used.
Reflexes were a good thing as Emily leaped back out of the way, an easy movement but one that still barely avoided the deadly movement of the blade as it was driven at her. She turned the leap into a pirouette and came back to face Leo.
In spite of what had happened, if she was scared in any way, it didn't show. The maddening little imp stood her ground, watching the blade materialize in his hand, green eyes glittering hungrily as it appeared. "Ooh what a nice sword you have! You really do want to see my nice red blood all over my pale skin, don't you?" There was something sly in her expression as she glanced at him, winking.
Tapping her neck, she smiled. "Right there. I know you want to see me bleeding right there."
Her expression grew more serious. "Maybe, though, instead of killing me you should come with me and we can find someone we can kill together?"
The redhead tapped her foot as if impatiently awaiting an answer and kept her glittering gaze focused on her companion.

She didn't express fear, at least, not from a conventional standpoint. The mad glimmer in her eye, the cocky assuredness of her speech, it all pointed to her complete and utter lack of any perception of danger. At least, so an amateur would have thought. Yet Emily's final proposal threw her facade away, that shred of terror thinly veiled as mutual compromise. And a ridiculous request it was, what could she contribute that was nothing more than unpleasant, ear-grating, absolutely useless? She was all talk, no action, accustomed to manipulating others with her words and while they had served to vex him Emily would not get what she wanted, in the end. "Oh, little girl, it's too late for that now," Leo said, a low chuckle emanating from his throat.
Previously, he had been toying with her. She was nothing more than his prey, and with exhilaration did he stalk her, knowing she had nowhere to run even if she obtained an inch of common sense and did so. An open path, perhaps there was, but such was useless when he was in pursuit. Calamitas unquenched, he advanced again, although instead of striking Emily directly, what with her childish maneuvers when it came to dodging, Leo slammed his blade down into the pavement below. Darkness bloomed under its touch, billowing into a geometric assault that consumed every piece of infrastructure it brushed over, a cacophony of force that was directly primarily at the girl, its grasp too wide-reaching for her pirouettes to have any effect.
Before he could proceed any further, a figure emerged from amidst the rubble. "Lagueohnydis!" her voice yelled, his eyes immediately locking onto the speaker in question, forced to do so. There Eris stood, beyond the reaches of low light, arms crossed and head shaking in disapproval.
Eretheos - 4 Making contact with the ground, whether it be directly or through a weapon enchanted with Eretheos that is not more than 50 meters away, Leo is capable of shattering the surface with black, slicing energy. Forming a cone with an angle of 60°, a length of 30 meters, and a height of 10 meters, serious damage is dealt to all within the area - those with a Toughness less than or equal to 40 being thrown off their feet. Cooldown of 3 posts.
A mad cackle of laughter was the only thing that Leo could hear as the power struck Emily and flung her body like it was made of fabric and rags. She cartwheeled and bounced, smashing into various objects as she was tossed. Flying debris and the sheer power of the spell opened cuts across her skin while she flew. The mad laugh continued as the power eventually caused her to smack hard into a wall which stopped her dead.
She wheezed as the air was knocked out of her and she lay for a moment, just trying to draw breath before she managed to get to her feet, struggling to stand with the wall as support. Before she could make some sort of snappy retort, her eyes were drawn to the materialized being that glowed and shook her head in very real disapproval at Leo.
Emily watched, fascinated, as the whole scene unfolded. The sheer power that Leonidas had was in equal measures terrifying and thrilling. Perhaps this being was part of it? The redhead was soon going to find out.

With a step, then another, Eris's form reached the center of the alley, surveying the destruction that was scattered throughout, boarded up windows smashed to pieces while a few particularly delicate pieces of infrastructure had been ripped away to reveal their innards, although all seemed abandoned. Clad in a black pantsuit with a plum neck tie accenting it, she had just gotten out of a business meeting, he knew that. Leo also knew that he should have been in attendance, he would have been if it weren't for the thing plaguing his consciousness. The shadows, they had struck again. "Hwosdoeniu? Didn't I tell you to save me a seat at the bar?" Eris asked, pulling his thoughts back into place.
A sigh, he looked down at the blade in his hand even as she drew nearer; he knew what she thought. With a twitch of his lip did Leo drop Calamitas, its hilt clattering onto the stone, phantom blade dissipating. "This girl decided to rudely interrupt my evening and then followed me after I tried to leave, in an effort to not kill her," he answered, although his tone was far more monotonous than one would expect, given his words.
Eris raised her eyebrows, letting out a mark of near disbelief. Her head then turned ever so slightly in Emily's direction, addressing her. "What is your name, and, more importantly, what exactly do you want with my husband?"
"Your...husband? Oh!" Emily let out a torrent of giggles and turned to look at Leo. She waggled her finger at him and shook her head.
"So you're out drinking and your wife, doesn't know where you are?! That's too rich! Here you are, big scary guy with a sword and your wife doesn't know you're at the bar. Amazing."
It was pretty hard to ignore someone who had been glowing and had the commanding voice of some kind of avenging goddess, so the redhead turned her attention to look at Eris. It seemed that something in her had enough belief in self-preservation that it prompted a response, so Emily spoke up. "The name is Emily Winter and your stubborn husband doesn't seem to get that I want to learn from him and grow in power, so I can be like him."
The slender young woman shrugged and added, "Plus I was bored and he looked interesting."
Eris narrowed her eyes. "If I'm not mistaken, I didn't know where he was because of your actions. Which I now understand why Leo left, considering how idiotic your demeanor is," she stated, words cold, meticulous, and flat in their delivery. There was not a breath nor tone wasted, she was still in her business mode, he could tell.
Nevertheless she was right, Emily was nothing more than an annoying girl who had prodded around too much. "Yeah," Leo grumbled, bending down as his hand passed over Calamitas for the briefest moment, the blade vanishing from sight. "Not to mention, it's not like we know each other's location at all times, do you not understand what trust is?"
Every phrase uttered pained him more, reminded him of how young and foolish the psychopath truly was. But learning from him, that had to take the cake. They both exchanged a laugh, Leo shaking his head at her naivety as his iteration of the chortle was pronounced nervously. "Look, I've taught many things, but the practical application of magic was never one of them. I can't even control this thing inside me, how do you expect me to help you?" Even at thing he winced, a part of himself hating to relegate his magic to a separate entity, for in reality it was simply another facet of his being. Humanity, though, they did not understand such a concept, could not comprehend magic as anything but a tool to be studied, a power to be gained. The girl, she was no different.
Then, interesting, though she likely didn't mean it as an insult the word pained Leo all the same, a scientific observation from the way she had delivered it. "Just because someone is interesting to you doesn't mean you can invade their personal space, thank you very much. Now, do you have anything else to say, or can we leave and forget about this entirely?"
