Brave Galaxy is set in a world loosely based on Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail and Eden’s Zero. It is a PG-13 or so rated space fantasy RP, and uses a combination of character statistics, which can be acquired via roleplaying and events, and creative freedom to help direct players’ characters. While there is a main storyline, which can be found in the events section, characters are free to interact with others and their environment however they see fit.
Explore the galaxy. Overcome the obstacles in your path. Shape the future of humanity.
Name: Concerto Class: B Description: When fashion meets function, it makes for wonderful inventions such as Concerto. Valentine dislikes guns and blasters as a piece of equipment, but he enjoyed how effective they were in putting someone down. It was this issue that led him to seek an alternative method of harnessing the destructive power those tools possessed. Working with the best weapon designers the Chevallier money could buy, Concerto was conceived; A black leather glove that hid within it the ability to release bolts of plasma.
Concerto is powered by a small plasma cartridge that fits in a slot on the underside of the wrist section of the glove. Small channels run from the power supply to each of the finger tips, with a larger one being found on the palm. From these channels, plasma can be fired that is self contained with a small gravitational field. These bolts measure in at around two and a half centimetres at most. Due to the nature of the bolts composition, upon hitting a target, they cause damage in the form of extreme heat and boring. It is common to see these bolts completely burn through their targets if the material cannot withstand their power.
To further increase the damage the gloves could inflict, Valentine requested a special function that allows a more condensed bolt of plasma to be used, at a cost of increased ammo consumption. The feature was added, and allows for the channels on each of the fingers to condense up to 3 bolts into a singular bolt, while the channel on the palm allows up to 6. Should Valentine be wearing a Concerto on both hands, a feature is unlocked that allows the gloves to join together at the wrist, and use both palm tunnels to release 12 (6 from each) into a singular bolt. This massive increase in ammo consumption must be monitored, lest Valentine find himself wearing gloves that are now only a fashion statement.
The glove itself is pitch black in color, and made of a material similar to leather, but much more durable. The fit is skin tight, covers up to an inch of wrist, and feels almost like another layer of skin, but made careful to ensure optimal comfort and flexibility. The gloves are near featureless, as Valentine wanted to prioritize a sleek look and feel. Due to the plasma cartridge and extra durability of the gloves, they weigh in at just under half a pound.
Some other features that make Concerto the masterpiece that they are: -Mind activated firing due to neural integration at the wrist. -Wrist mounted ammo count can be displayed at a thought -They are quite simply "point and shoot" -The gloves are quite durable and safe, and can be used and worn all day in any situations, without fear of misfire.
Effect: A fashionable leather glove that fires plasma bolts. A product of Valentine's disdain for guns and blasters, but wanting something that can do the same thing as them.
