No two Harpertings are the same, and as such, Fee is no exception. She sports a rabbit like head and neck that moves into a bird like body; however as a Wayfarer variant she lacks flight capable wings and instead she sports two strong raptor like arms, lined with enough feathers to allow for gliding. Her tail is quite long, and is tipped with feathers, this tail is used for balance, but can also act as a rudder when running. Her head is topped with two small horns, remnants of the larger dear like horns a one could find on an average Harpertinger. As for coloring, Fee's colors are a mixture of browns and tans, with a base cream color, her chest fluff is white in color and her fur has blotches of brown. Her wings are the same brown as her fur with darker markings lining the outer wing and a lighter cream color under wing. Her horns and claws sport a dark brown color, and her eyes are yellowish in tone. Fee also sports multiple scars, including a torn ear, a scratch across her cheek, and a large scar on her shoulder. For a better idea of what Fee looks like look under "Picture". Clothing: Fee comes sporting a Harperting sized vest, undershirt, and pants. Each item is dark grey in color and also acts as a light armor on Fee. Her pants sport a slightly grey blue detailing. Accessories: Fee sports a belt that she raps around her shoulder like a bandolier. This belt is actually the hostler for her over sized gun which she has on her back whenever it is not in use. It also sports a ammo pouch on her breast. Picture: Personality Fee is a fighter, she has grown up fighting and will continue to fight until the day she dies. Her atypical upbringing matched with her steadfast need to seemingly prove herself to a universe that may not even care has created a far more aggressive foe than meets the eye. She knows she is small, but that doesn't stop her from fighting back. She is quick to anger, even quicker to attack, after all she has been fighting all her life. But this is all at face value, she comes off very brash and stubborn but that comes with the territory; she is small, some would even say cute, and that makes others underestimate her ability, and she hates being underestimated. Past her rugged exterior, Fee is loyal to a fault. She will stand up for what she believes in and those who believe in her, no matter how the odds are stacked she will stand strong whenever she needs to protect those she holds dear. To those she considers allies she is playful in a way, sassy even, and willing to show a softer side to. In those instances one may even call her caring. In a more practical sense Fee is tactical, plans her every move, and is willing to put her pride aside for a mission. A quick thinker under fire and always going in with multiple back up plans, Fee is ready to go whenever. History Years 0-1: Fee never knew her birth parents, as far as she knows she was orphaned as an egg left to die in some ditch. The fates of her birth parents will remain a mystery, but the fates of those who raised her will be forever ingrained in her mind. Her first memories are of being surrounded by large figures, she was scared, but that fear was quickly extinguished when the largest man picked her up and cradled her. This man, Captain Ro, was the leader of a small group of space pirates. Captain Ro was a large heavyset human, covered in read hair and sporting a large red beard. With Captain Ro was three others; his first mate and lover, a short kind Cambion male named Deftear; a Beastman resembling a fox name Vulp, he was the navigator and pilot; and finally Aroh the weapons expert, an Elf born without any magical abilities. Fee owes these four men, Ro, Deftear, Vulp, and Aroh, her life. It was on the S.S. Starblazer that Fee grew up, named Feather by the crew she was quickly indoctrinated into the life of a pirate. Always on the run living in close quarters, she became an integral member of the crew for her small size and quick reflexes. They taught her their languages, told her stories of their homes and lives before turning to the pirates life, helped her become who she is now. She found her second home among the ruins of Elyakim, a hidden base that she frequents to this day. Years 2: When Feather turned two, basically a teenager by Harperting standards, she began to pester the crew into letting her help during raids and attacks. Up until this point the crew would often have her hide in the vents to avoid conflict, and she was tired of hiding when she could help. Captain Ro forbade it, claiming that the young child was too small and would get in the way. This was the first major fight between the two, feather storming off into the vents where she couldn't be followed. While sulking, an attack was made on the ship, the Starblazer was boarded and it wasn't long before the crew was tied up or incapacitated. Feather watched through the vents as her family was overtaken by a rival pirate crew. With Vulp muzzled, Aroh and Deftear knocked out, and Captain Ro tied up and being threatened, she decided she needed to do something. With the rival captain standing almost perfectly under the vent she was currently hiding in she kicked out the vent cover and attacked the man from above. Scratching and clawing and biting, Feather assaulted the mans head, causing a distraction that Vulp and Ro took advantage of Vulp clawed his way out of his bindings while Ro jumped up and headbutted the closest enemy. In a quick flurry of attacks the fight was quickly over and the Starblazer's crew was licking their wounds. It was this act that gave Captain Ro an idea, Feather did not need to be a front-line fighter, she could be stealthy, she could shoot, she could fight. Years 3-5: For the next few years Feather would learn to fight as a member of the S.S. Starblazer, earning the title intelligence specialist, she could rather easily sneak into the vents and learn vital information. Aroh also began training her in using firearms, though there was the issue of basic guns not necessarily being made for someone her size. It was between these years that she really began to fill out and grow inter her adult size, though she hoped that she would at least get a little taller. Years 6-7: She first met someone of her kind when her own ship came across a passing merchant. The merchant had some items the Starblazer crew needed and vise versa, so a trade was negotiated. It was when Fee and Captain Ro boarded their ship she came face to face with another Harperting. This Harperting was colorful, beautiful even, a Stella variant, a mage, so many things at once. Fee stared at her in awe, so many questions on her lips, she was paralyzed. Introductions where had, Frank and Destra the Human and Harperting duo who traveled around selling interesting items they could find. Never before had Fee really questioned where she came from but now she had so many questions. She wasn't the only one, there were more of her kind. When Destra caught Fee staring she began to spoke in a dialect foreign to the dull brown creature. Destra gave her an odd look before asking in Foiran if Fee was alright. This began the long conversation that would come regarding Fee's heritage and race. What started as a chance encounter between ships became a partnership, Destra did not want to leave this poor fledgling knowing as little as she did. To Destra Fee was a lost little hatchling, and to Fee Destra was an answered question. Years 7-14: The next couple of years came and went, there were highs and lows to be had and as time past Fee learned more about her race while also learning more about herself. She gained battle scars no doubt and became a strong capable creature. She would grow into something stronger than the sum of her parts. Year 15 - Current: Fee decided that she ultimately needed to take some time to truly find herself, learn more about the world around her and try to understand her place in it. She voiced this to Captain Ro and with a sad look in his eyes the battle hardened pirate sat down with Fee. They talked about what she would do and plans for the future before Ro finally conceded. Equipped with a gun and her wit she set off to really see the world, but if she where to ever need her family they were one secure comm link away. It provides some protection but not a lot. Effect/Function: Protection --- Name: Jump & Glide [Racial Trait] Class: [C-Class] Description: By possessing two arms lined with feathers, as well as hollow bones, the user is able to glide a considerable distance. To do this the user must be higher in altitude when compared to their destination, as they will ultimately lose altitude while gliding. The user also possess a more powerful jump, aided once again by their hollow bones and wings. With strong powerful back-legs the user can propel them self up, aided with a flap of their feather lined arms to improve their lift. Effect(s): Glide (Adjusted Fly) Rank 3: When gliding the user will lose 1 m of altitude for every 2 m of distance traveled. This is maxed out at a travel distance of 25 m. This means to travel 25 m the user must start at a height of 50 m or more. The user can carry a maximum of 30 kg on them when. When using Glide, the user must keep both arms out, making the use of hand held weapons impossible. Glide can be interrupted at any time by blunt force directly to the user, or damage specifically to their arms. This will cause the character to enter free-fall and will take fall damage equivalent to the fall taken. Free-fall will also take place when the character has exceeded the 25 m limit. . The user moves in a relatively straight line while gliding with the ability to make minor changes in direction by shifting their weight from one side to the other. This is a passive trait Jump: Using their powerful legs the user can jump 3 times their height. The user can also flap their arms when jumping, instead jumping 5 times their height. However to do this they must not be holding any large items in their arms that could affect their balance. This is a passive trait Name: Claws & Talons [Racial Trait] Class: [D-Class] Description: By possessing both talons that are an inch long and claws that are half an inch long, the user can scratch and claw an opponent whenever needed. Her fighting style adapts to her opponent but she is more competent fighting opponents bigger than her. Stowaway - Fee has had practice hiding and moving stealthily in spaceships and other transportation vessels. Due to her small size she has an easy time fitting into every nook and cranny available and generally finds no issue finding a place to hide. Her preferred hiding place is the vents, allowing for quick travel throughout a ship as well as multiple access and exit points she has gotten quite familiar with vent travel Bounty - Fee has a good sense for how much an item is worth just by looking at it, after years of living among pirates and selling stolen goods one is bound to pick up on the average prices of most items. Be it weapons, armor, or information she can often come up with the worth. Feats In The Zone: Maximizing their concentration and focus, the non-mage's next attack finds the minuscule cracks in their opponent's defense, piercing class C armor to deal full damage. Brave Galaxy is set in a world loosely based on Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail and Eden’s Zero. It is a PG-13 or so rated space fantasy RP, and uses a combination of character statistics, which can be acquired via roleplaying and events, and creative freedom to help direct players’ characters. While there is a main storyline, which can be found in the events section, characters are free to interact with others and their environment however they see fit.
