Brave Galaxy is set in a world loosely based on Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail and Eden’s Zero. It is a PG-13 or so rated space fantasy RP, and uses a combination of character statistics, which can be acquired via roleplaying and events, and creative freedom to help direct players’ characters. While there is a main storyline, which can be found in the events section, characters are free to interact with others and their environment however they see fit.
Explore the galaxy. Overcome the obstacles in your path. Shape the future of humanity.
Depending on who you ask about Elyakim you are bound to receive a plethora of different answers. At face value, Elyakim is an example of rebirth, how civilization can come back stronger after being beaten down. But do not be fooled by the glitz and glam above, for Elyakim has created one of the best masks, under the beautiful exterior of pretty attractions and tourist sights lies the true Elyakim, a lawless place. One can catch a glimpse of the wickedness below ground level, but to do so would ruin their idealized world above; because once one knows the foundations on which a society is built, they begin to see how unstable it actually is.
When entering the slums of Elyakim it is vital to keep on guard, even now, only a level or two deep, Fee walks with her ears on alert, and her body spring-loaded. Chorus maybe her home turf, but the slums of Elyakim were a whole other beast. She walked, having to dodge the feet of ever passersby who either didn’t notice or didn’t care. Walking with purpose she knew her mark, Dave’s Drinks, a local watering hole that she has linked multiple disappearances too.
She liked to keep track of the Harperting population that called the lower rungs of Elyakim home, after all there was very little in the form of law enforcement in the slums, and crimes related to Harpertings usually go unsolved. Find one dead probably got killed by some wild animal or hit by a vehicle, and disappearances are a whole other issue entirely. With such a low level of knowledge in the general populous about there very existence, it was very easy for these crimes to be swept under the rug.
So far two Harpertings that Fee knows of have gone missing, both of which she can link back to having visited this establishment. This alone could be a coincidence but to be sure she wanted to stake out the location, get a feel for the occupants and record her findings. At best she has a lead, at worst it was just a dead end.
Or she could get kidnapped.
But she came prepared for a fight, her gun holstered to her back.
Coming to the door she entered when someone else pushed the door open. She scanned the room before choosing a booth that had a good view of the entire establishment, while also resting relatively close to the door. Walking across the semi-sticky unkempt floor, dodging both feet and wayward drinks alike, she came to her destination. With one powerful jump, she found herself perched on the hardwood seat of the booth, from here she could see anyone entering the establishment as well as be seen by them.

If he had to take one more trip to the Thieves' Branch, Leo was going to blow a gasket. For many, of course, that seemed like a bizarre thought, after all as a member of IMG traveling to one of its branches seemed like just a part of the job, but he never actually took a mission related to thievery, it was far from his forte after all. No, because the division in Elyakim was the newest, it was also the least entrenched out of them all, and therefore the most prone to... incidents. Today, it was rumors of a black market in the slums nearby that had forced him to make yet another excursion out to Chorus, and while such an aspect of the criminal underworld usually didn't interfere with the guild's inter-workings, there had been several reports of members having gone missing, all centered around a singular establishment.
Dave's Drinks. Such an innocuous title practically begged to be involved in nefarious activities, especially those related to abduction. Of course, without prior knowledge perhaps that would be harder to ascertain, but that was not the situation Leo found himself in. He passed through several of Lower Elyakim's streets before being met with the stench of unkempt individuals and a strong whiff of beer, the telltale signs of a dive only magnified by the half broken fluorescent sign that lit up the alley. Several shady individuals leaned up against the side of the building, giving Leo a suspicious glance as he reached toward the door knob, walking into the establishment.
It was no grand entrance, his posture caught in its usual half slouch while he sported his typical black jacket, accompanied with some faded gray jeans and a navy t-shirt. There was also a revolver at his side and a plethora of knives concealed on his person, but that did seem to be the one commonality between all the patrons of the place. It would be rather difficult to simply snatch someone up without a fight, which meant that there was likely another factor at play. Leo's gaze flickered across the bar, a pale crimson that threatened to darken at any moment. While he was searching for any particularly unsavory folks, a difficult task in and of itself, someone else caught his eye. A tiny, bird-rabbit person, he vaguely recalled having seen one before, but recently? He couldn't help but stare at them for a second, before eventually shaking his head and walking up to the bartender. Ordering a dark lager, he then glanced back again, and realized that the... bird was intentionally making themselves known. Given the account of the Thieves' Branch, he couldn't help but think how foolish that was, unless they were trying to get caught.
Fee knew it would be hard to avoid standing out, her race was quite unknown after all. Chorus especially saw one of the lowest population Harpertings of all planets due to its underworld. That was what made two consecutive disappearances so alarming, when your population doesn’t exceed triple digits in any given area, losing two members means a lot. Sure she could stay hidden, hide under the liquor drenched furniture, and listen in for any conversation relating to the disappearances, but listening could only get one so far and it is possible this could lead nowhere. Instead, she decided that being seen was better, let the people know that another Harperting was there and see how they react.
She had gotten looks, not uncommon of course. The more sober patrons tend to send passing glances her way, while those who reak of liquor seem to stare as if she was a figment of their drunken minds. Fee paid mind to each glance, judging their general meaning to the best of her ability, sorting each one in her mind without directly looking at them. Most patrons seemed armed in some way, but in all honesty, having a weapon on one’s person in the lower rungs of Elyakim was not uncommon.
It did not take long before Fee really noticed the race ratio of the establishment, overall it seemed to be human heavy. The staff seemed to all be human from what she could tell, humans seemed to make up the majority of the patrons as well. There were two obvious exceptions to that rule whoever, a feline beastman nursing a pint of some alcohol in the corner and herself. That being said, one character sitting with a group of humans could be an elf, his skin color seemed far too ashen to be completely human; however, with a hood up and the lighting in the bar, she couldn’t be sure.
The most perplexing thing Fee noticed while she watched was the staff. For starters, this place was able to staff three servers on top of the bartender and whoever may be in the back, servers in the most basic sense since this place only had alcohol, but servers non the less. Maybe it was worth it whoever since they were rather good looking human females, and their presence may be what brings in such a large amount of customers.
But their distribution of work only made the situation more perplexing. It seemed that the blonde and the redhead worked the left and right halves of the floor respectively leaving no tables of the brunette to serve. Yet the brunette seems to be serving the beastman, a table that would be in blondes section.
Before Fee could ponder on this fact any further she felt another set of eyes on her, the gaze seeming to linger, she turned her head ever so slightly to catch sight of the man in her peripheral, sadly she missed the mans face, only seeing his back as he walked towards the bar. She watched him from the corner of her eye as he made his way to the bar, but before she could brush off the encounter he looked at her once again.
She recognized that face, how was that man still so young, why was he h-
“Hello, welcome to Dave’s Drinks, can I start you off with anything?”
Fee almost jumped, having to suppress the action to save face. Turning to face the voice that ripped her from her thoughts, she was met with the brown eyes of the brunette. The young Harperting put on a soft smile and spoke in a sweet voice, “I’ll just have a water right now, I’m waiting on a friend.” This was a lie, of course, however, Fee wanted to make it seem like she wasn’t going to be alone just in case.
“Alrighty water for you then, I will get right on it.” The brunette left in a hurry.
The familiar man took a back seat in Fee’s mind as her thoughts once again returned to the case of the brunette. Why was the brunette now serving her, when Fee was in redhead’s section.

Sitting down at the bar top, Leo's attention faltered slightly in the grand scheme of things, preoccupied with both trying to recall what the name of the little bird race was - it was at the tip of his tongue - and idly tracking the movements of the bartender in nothing more than anticipation. Of course, he couldn't follow everything since apparently the tap for the particular beer he had ordered was behind a wall, but hey, that was no matter. What caught his mind, however, was the fact that it was a brunette waitress who ultimately presented Leo with his drink, not the barkeep who had taken the order. He stared at it for a second, then at the back of the woman who was already slipping away to another section of the bar, and then back to the lager, ultimately shrugging and taking a sip out of it despite his momentary suspicions.
Most of it tasted like piss. Leo supposed he shouldn't have expected anything better from a place called Dave's Drinks, but nonetheless he was a bit disappointed. There was something else beneath the terrible alcohol, though, a subtlety that wasn't meant to be detected. Of course they would attempt to drug anyone they saw as potential quarry, but how the hell had they figured out he wasn't completely human? Perhaps it had something to do with the waitress, who seemed to be bouncing across the restaurant, but regardless Leo couldn't help but feel suddenly uncomfortable at the fact that he had been made so quickly. Yes, whatever substance had been slipped in his drink wasn't strong enough to do anything, but it was the principle. Worse things could be hiding around the corner, a dread he knew all too well.
For now, there was no need to be so paranoid. There were plenty of people out and about in the establishment, which meant a whole slew of witnesses were anything particularly illegal to occur. For once, Leo was actually glad about that, having the law on one's side was, well, an odd sensation. He didn't want to poke around the staff quite yet, however, the bird-rabbit once again came to his attention. Well, there was no harm in approaching them, if anything it could result in one less victim of the black market ring operating just under all the patrons' noses. With that in mind, Leo picked up his beer and headed over to the booth nearby, still maintaining a casual gait.
