Brave Galaxy is set in a world loosely based on Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail and Eden’s Zero. It is a PG-13 or so rated space fantasy RP, and uses a combination of character statistics, which can be acquired via roleplaying and events, and creative freedom to help direct players’ characters. While there is a main storyline, which can be found in the events section, characters are free to interact with others and their environment however they see fit.
Explore the galaxy. Overcome the obstacles in your path. Shape the future of humanity.
Laelynn, as usual, resided upon her ship, working tirelessly on what was to be her next big invention. A fusion dark energy, dark matter tracer, which would give her measurements of such mysterious forces far more accurately than she could achieve before. Yet and still, like most scientific endevors, the process was rife with trial and error, now burning past her fifth proto-type as she furiously pounded her fist onto her dashboard. "I dojn't get it, everything bout' this should be perfect, but it keeps giving me signals on a fuckin' planet! It makes no sense!" Reaching towards a nearby bag of salt and vinegar chips, Laelynn began binge eating in stress, going over each and every calculation in her notes. Though she denied it, there were rare mistakes in her inventions, but to fail after so many attempts and fixes was unthinkable to her!
"Miss Morbane, if I may make a suggestion?" "Yeawh P.A.L, what'ish it?" Laelynn inquired as her A.I companion spoke up. "According to my data, your ratio of mistakes is quite low, so, your new device failing this many times seems...improbable. Have you considered the chance that there's an anomoly upon that planet?" "Yheah, but lhike..." Coughing slightly as she swallowed her snacks, Laelynn continued. "Dark Matter usually is'round the edges of galaxies, and dark energy at the edges of the universe, it just doesn't seem likely..." "Once you have eliminated all likely answers, only the unlikely answers remain logical." Laelynn sighed at this remark, shaking her head as she facepalmed. "Let me guess, you're now reading detective stories to learn more about humans, huh?" "Only a few volumes, but that is correct." "Great...Well, guess we got nothin' to lose on your hypothesis, let's do it.~"
And so, with that, Laelynn and her ship descended to such a back water planet, all the while, her new sensor device sending pings throguh the area, searching for the strange anomaly that her technology picked up upon. "I'm goin'ta need to scold P.A.L if things don't work out here..." She silently mused, working her way through the census department and into the back water streets of this desolate planet, her dark matter sensor on hand as she tracked the source of the strange signal, her search leading her into a rather slummy area in the dead of night. Desolate and empty except for a few stray individuals, maybe some homeless, some partaking in illicit activities. Certainly not the time nor the place for a young girl like Laelynn, but having grown up on the streets, she had little to no fear of the circumstance. After all, she had technology on her side.~
