As a matter of fact, probably the first thing that comes to mind when the nation is mentioned is a strict work ethic, Boscans in general being a bit more severe than most of the galaxy. There is also a mentality of self reliance present throughout the population, as strength is valued far above compassion and other supposed weak notions. On a less serious but still prominent note, Boscans are also known for their consumption of alcoholic beverages, the country being a primary producer of beer and like substances. Loyalty is of utmost value in the Reich, and speaking against the government, while not strictly disallowed, is looked down upon by most citizens. Those who have served their country for extensive periods of time are often valued as being higher in the societal ladder than those who have not, regardless of wealth or blood ties. Indeed, a large portion of Bosco's culture is centered around its military service, leading some to believe such was engineered by the government itself. Mages are rather uncommon in the nation, as well, and magic to a degree looked down upon and even feared, leaving to further focus on industrial activities. History Once, long before Bosco as a concept existed, there were five warring tribes - the Kessig, Ulven, Utvara, Moors, and Selhoffian. These groups fought each other and neighboring tribes for hundreds of years, however they were unable to prevent their plight in the hands of a greater force, known as the the Dominarian Empire. Within the span of a single generation, the ancestors of the Boscan people had fallen, and would remain under the rule of the Dominaria until eventually the empire collapsed. During this time, a man known as Uilliam Bosco, an Ulvenwaldish farmer, achieved great fame and glory on the battlefield. By fighting off the remnants of the Dominarians, he gained the respect of the other tribes of the region, eventually uniting the five under the banner of Bosco. Uilliam expanded the Boscan borders into the lands of Stella and Seven, and although Stella eventually reclaimed its territory Seven was never able to do so, and the two countries remained enemies in wars and skirmishes for hundreds of years. Still, relative peace existed within the country, the two rivals unable to budge one another. At least, that was the case until King Wilhelm VI inherited the throne, casting his slovenly habits onto the proud Bosco. Its economy became crippled, its military the laughing stock of the continent. Soon enough, the man passed as a result of a massive stroke, however before any foul play could be identified, his young son Wilhelm VII was crowned king. He was a weak king, a puppet for the Boscan Parliament, the Bundestag. During his 'reign' the Bundestag returned great economic wealth to the country, or at least to Bosco's elite. The rest of the nation suffered from corruption and oppression, and from this frustration did a hero of the people arrive, in the form of the crown prince Wilhelm VIII. He spent his entire life amassing military allies and knowledge, and in one fell swoop slaughtered not only the entire Bundestag but his father and brothers as well. The citizens of Bosco cheered him wholeheartedly, and with the full support of his people did Wilhelm gradually reform the nation into a dictatorship, denoting himself Emperor. However, he was power hungry, and sought after ancient artifacts to solidify his position and Bosco's military might. Seeking a legend known as the Raijin, he sent his son Wilhelm IX to retrieve it in Fiore. However, the result was the First Fiorean-Boscan, which while it ended swiftly led to the second. However, the latter was not orchestrated by the Emperor himself, rather it was an agreement between the infamous King Stefan of Fiore and on Bosco's side General Garrus Ashram. However, the war went horribly awry when a rogue Boscan colonel known as Erwin Wesker weaponized a long dormant disease known as the Blight. Both Boscan and Fiorean operatives attempted to stop him, however they failed, and Blight missiles were sent to various locations across the continent. The nations of Earthland were unable to halt the rapid advance of the Blight, and the Great War, as Fiore and Bosco's conflict would evolve into, ended inconclusive as the entire continent took flight from Earthland. Despite Wesker not acting on behalf of the Boscan military, the rest of the Earthland nations did not see it as so, and blamed the Boscan government along with Stefan for the catastrophe. Having already lost the trust of his people and now the rest of the world, Emperor Wilhelm VIII abdicated from the throne, leaving his son Prince Wilford to pick up the pieces of his broken nation. Instead of following in his father's footsteps, Wilford reformed the Bundestag and established the Boscan Republic. He placed himself on the parliament, however merely as an adviser, allowing the people to vote for their representatives. While the republic was later shaped into the Boscan Großereich as it is known today, and with it the direct representation of the people was lessened, Wilford's great strides were universally praised by both his own country and others. Along with other nations, Bosco was a pillar in the foundation of the Alliance of Unified Planets, although they have been a rather peaceful nation, all things considered, after the Exodus. One particular time Boscan might was called into question was during the events of the Seveni Liberation Front, where Seveni citizens attempted to throw off the yolk of the Reich. While initially both Fiore and Pergrande attempted to intervene with Boscan efforts to quell the rebellion, after a particular cell of rebels were declared terrorists they eventually back off. Ever since the conflict, the Boscan Großereich has continued to amass wealth and power, assuming its role as one of the major powers of the galaxy. Government While the Boscan Großereich is on paper a republic, with a parliament known as the Bundestag having authority, in reality it is home to a pseudo-oligarchy managed by the Bundeskanzler, or chancellor of the Bundestag. Chosen by the parliament itself rather than direct election, the relaxed policy the state has in terms of regulation of large corporations has led to corruption being rife within the structure of government. Despite this, however, most Boscans don't openly protest such, as Bundeskanzler in the past have been rather fair and just, partially to avoid any potential revolutions. That being said, even the more democratic sides to Bosco's government is intertwined with the military, whether it be simply to inspire nationalism or for more nefarious purposes. Along with this, although technically nobility no longer exists within the Reich, holdovers from previous iterations of the country have left certain families with enough wealth and influence to essentially be considered such, one example being the Asscher family. Geography Bosco's primary geography is not natural but urbanized sprawl, complete with hosts of factories and residences with efficiency clearly prioritized over style. However, the parts of the Reich that are not developed are home to glistening mountains and bountiful pine forests, along with rolling hills of barley and similar crops. However, these more pleasant pictures are not what usually comes to mind when the country is mentioned, and in general Bosco is viewed as far more industrious than tranquil. Its four systems are classified by the four cardinal directions, though in space this is more so a namesake left over from the way the country was originally divided on Earthland than anything literal. Locations 4 systems, 11 planets and 20 moons. Many other areas of space also colonized. Norden - Home to the capital city of the Boscan Großereich, Erstestadt, the Norden System is the most well-known region of the nation, along with being the most populous. While possessing an industrial atmosphere, the technologies found in Norden tend to be more sophisticated than the rest of the Reich, its three planets and five moons also holding the heaviest economic activities found. Most of the wealthiest families in Bosco live in the Norden System, although certainly squalor can be found among the less fortunate. Osten - The convergence point of the other three systems, Osten has a lively economy, regarded as the most balanced of the four. Part urbanized sprawl, part tranquil countryside, and some of its cities more focused on the working class, the sectot is where many tourist go to visit the entirety of the Boscan Großereich in one fell swoop, or so the system claims. It has only 2 planets, though 6 moons, all rather indistinguishable in their purposes. Süden - The Süden System is the smallest region of Bosco - the often forgotten agricultural heartland. It holds only two planets and three moons, and produces a minority of the sustenance needed to support the entire Reich, the majority being obtained through exports. However, where Süden excels is in its breweries and being a fine connoisseur of beer and hops, enough so that it is known throughout the galaxy for such. Westen - Westen often has a reputation of being the nastiest of the Boscan systems, and although this is to a degree true it is also an objective viewpoint. It is the emerging industrial power, and for that reason regulations are few and far between, smoke often clogging up the air and field of vision. However, beneath the muck lies opportunity, and many large corporations today originally were founded in the Westen System, only to rise up from it. It holds four planets and six moons, making it the largest sprawl wise. Military The Reich has a powerful military compared to most other Earthland nations, on par with the likes of Fiore and Pergrande. However, where the former specializes in magic and the latter in high numbers, Bosco excels at non-magical technology, along with their tactical strategies. Collectively known as the Bundeswehr, most Boscans are required to serve in it for at least a short period of time, although exceptions are made for those pursuing other valuable careers, in the eyes of the state, and the upper class. Economy As an industrial, largely magic-less power, the Boscan Großereich has a thriving market economy centered on the design and manufacture of such goods, the government interfering little in business in what could be described as a laissez-faire type system. Indeed, various corporations tend to control and monopolize the market of Bosco at any given time, leading to a survival of the fittest mentality. The Reich's economy in particular is invested in all things mechanized: weapons, ships, vehicles, machines, et cetera. As a result, they tend to import the more agricultural and artisan products, though some areas of Bosco are known for their breweries and subsequent crops.

Brave Galaxy is set in a world loosely based on Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail and Eden’s Zero. It is a PG-13 or so rated space fantasy RP, and uses a combination of character statistics, which can be acquired via roleplaying and events, and creative freedom to help direct players’ characters. While there is a main storyline, which can be found in the events section, characters are free to interact with others and their environment however they see fit.
