Brave Galaxy is set in a world loosely based on Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail and Eden’s Zero. It is a PG-13 or so rated space fantasy RP, and uses a combination of character statistics, which can be acquired via roleplaying and events, and creative freedom to help direct players’ characters. While there is a main storyline, which can be found in the events section, characters are free to interact with others and their environment however they see fit.
Explore the galaxy. Overcome the obstacles in your path. Shape the future of humanity.

Threads
Threads are the basis of character interaction, and cover any story you write with others that does not fall under any more specific category. As BG operates on liquid time, your characters may be in as many threads as you would like, although please consider the time you can dedicate to the site as no one likes inactive threads. Once a thread is completed, you can submit it to the grading thread on the Mission Board, where you and other participants will be rewarded SP and credits for your writing. In general, for every 5 posts a player makes they get 1 SP and 2,000 credits, however bonuses for quality are also added onto this and more than two participants lowers the limit from every 5 posts to every 4. Posts outside these rotations will simply earn additional credits.
Solo Threads: Solo threads are threads you write on your own, whether it be interactions between two of your PCs (who cannot RP together in normal threads) or just with one of your characters. Solo threads offer less rewards, 1 SP and 2,000 credits per every 7 posts, and bonuses are not applicable to them. Note that if they are interactions between two of your PCs, each character will be treated independently when it comes to grading.
Arcs
An arc is a series of threads with a unifying goal that has a more profound impact on a character than a normal thread. Whether it be a quest to find a greater power or a simple task that goes very wrong, arcs offer a way to RP across multiple settings and themes with a unifying storyline. Arcs must have at least 3 threads in them, and each thread must be at least 3 pages (30 posts) long. Arcs award Arc Points (AP) in addition to SP and credits from each thread and additional SP and credits at the arc's conclusion. AP is essentially a type of currency similar to credits, however it can only be spent at the AP Shop found within Item Creation. In general, each character in an arc (and there must be at least two characters) will receive 1 AP per every thread, with the creator of the arc earning an additional AP at the arc's conclusion. AP will only be rewarded if an arc is completed.
