Brave Galaxy is set in a world loosely based on Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail and Eden’s Zero. It is a PG-13 or so rated space fantasy RP, and uses a combination of character statistics, which can be acquired via roleplaying and events, and creative freedom to help direct players’ characters. While there is a main storyline, which can be found in the events section, characters are free to interact with others and their environment however they see fit.
Explore the galaxy. Overcome the obstacles in your path. Shape the future of humanity.
Right, so it hasn't been too long since we last had a site update, however there are some numbers that need tweaking. Expect some new additions to come content-wise over the summer, however I wanted to get these changes rolled out before I go on my trip.
First off, starting companion TP has been scaled way back to match that of PCs. E-class companions will continue to start with 0 TP, while D-class will start with 1 TP, C-class with 2 TP, B-class with 3 TP, A-class with 4 TP, and S-class with 5 TP. For those who this affects, you may keep your companion's current TP, however simply don't add new TP if your companions are supposed to gain it, and the same goes for purchasing TP, until it is balanced out.
Next, some values regarding offensive and defensive techniques have been modified. These do not pertain to the descriptions of damage itself, but how to scale down a technique if it involves multiple projectiles. Defensive technique downward scaling has also been modified slightly to balance the offensive techniques, as it was previously unbalanced. This shouldn't require any editing on your part, those who have offensive or defensive techniques, as the projectile rule was assumed previously and shields aren't usually written all that specific, but just note in your next mod if you do need to fix something, whether it be an item or a technique.
Finally, regeneration rules have been changed so that they actually match the durations and cooldowns of normal healing techniques, as they were supposed to previously. Ranks 1 and 2 still take 6 posts to fully heal, while ranks 3 and 4 take 5 posts, ranks 5 and 6 take 4 posts, and ranks 7 onward take 3 posts. How much each rank heals will stay the same. Like the offensive and defensive, if a technique or item you have needs to be modified because of this, just note it in your next mod.
And that's all for this update! Happy summer, and make sure to keep your eyes peeled for our next main event over the course of the season! As always, if you have suggestions or have found some discrepancies in the rules, please don't hesitate to contact me.
