Brave Galaxy is set in a world loosely based on Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail and Eden’s Zero. It is a PG-13 or so rated space fantasy RP, and uses a combination of character statistics, which can be acquired via roleplaying and events, and creative freedom to help direct players’ characters. While there is a main storyline, which can be found in the events section, characters are free to interact with others and their environment however they see fit.
Explore the galaxy. Overcome the obstacles in your path. Shape the future of humanity.
Preface: The Harperting is definitely one of the odder races that once called Earthland home. Seemingly an amalgamation of all sorts of creatures, I cannot just describe them all in simple terms because they are so different. One could even call them different races all together if it was not for the fact that each one of them considers the other kin no matter how different they may be. These creatures vary in size shape, life-span, magical ability, and so on, but to try and divide each different type into their own subcategory would be maddening. In the end I have created this generalized document on the Harperting, including generalized information on the race's anatomy and racial details, while also highlighting some of the more common or most unique variants I could find.
As far as the listed variants go, this is not a complete list by any means, and if any of you travelers wish to add onto this list feel free to contact me. As well if any member's of the Harperting race wish to correct or comment on my writing feel free to message me as well. I am but a simple human scholar wishing to educate the masses on the many races that call our galaxy home.
Average Harperting Anatomy As previously stated Harpertings vary greatly in size shape and defining features. So to give you a better idea of what I am talking about I will describe the most basic form a Harperting can

History
Pre-Exodus (Before Year 15)
Very little is known about the Harperting race prior Year 0 on the Universal Calendar, and even then nothing concrete was documented pertaining to their race until between Years 15 through 300, The Exodus. However after doing some digging I found something rather interesting predating the Earthland Crisis. Most if not all civilizations found on Earthland held their own mythology pertaining to a half rabbit half bird half deer like creature. These myths talked of a spirit who would inconvenience and play pranks on people who have done something morally wrong.
Icebergic tales tell of white hares with large antlers and silver wings stealing the shoes of children who disrespected their parents, though it is believed that this is a re-imagining of The Tale of Sho. In this story a man was banished from is tribe for killing his wife and children. The man was left to the elements, and it is told he was followed by similarly described creatures who stole his belongings in his sleep. He would later die, found frozen to death with only his shoes.
Similarly a anti-Boscan story tells of the rabbits that won a war. Feathered rabbits stealing from Boscan soldiers in Stella land, taking important supplies that lost them the fight for the land itself. The story was suppose to make Boscan look weak, unable to fend off rabbits.
Their are many more stories like this, leading me to believe that some of these stories are actually true to some extent. Regardless that is all I could find regarding information on the race Pre-Exodus.
The Exodus (Year 15 Through Year 300)
During the 285 years the races of Earthland found on those ships, documentation of the race appears seemingly out of thin air. Diaries from people onboard those ships talk of the small creatures once thought to be myth now among them. Some tell of the helpful little creatures that could get into those hard to reach areas. Little tinkerers that could do just about anything that they put their minds to. It is here in this wealth of information that we get a general idea of what the Harperting is and how they function as a society. Talk of their communication later dubbed "Hare Speak", their trickster nature, how some stowed away and others worked as mechanics and scientists. This is where the first documented examples of Harperting writing can be found. They are quick learners as it turns out, and despite their lack of hands they had generally good "Wing Writing" as one person calls it.
It is here that we find documentation of how quickly this race seems to adapt to their surroundings. The children of the Earthland Harpertings displayed smaller bodies and almost nonexistent horns, these changes reflected the rationed food supply, so these children would better survive with smaller amounts of food. This is a great example of how Harpertings are so adaptable, why they vary so drastically, they generate young that would be more fit to live in the environment they currently inhabit.
This is just the beginning of the Harperting's high adaptability.
