LEAGUE OF PIRATES
The League of Pirates is shadow organization. There are plenty of myths and rumors as to the legitimacy and even existence of such an organization, whilst the many citizens of the galaxy have seen or even experienced pirates themselves they come across as nothing more than criminals. Whilst it is true that there are many 'pirates' who do their own thing it is also true that the pirates have a structure to those who know of it anyway.
The League is not usually something that a pirate finds but rather The League finds the pirate, of course there are a few exceptions to this. The League has various bases of operations within the galaxy as well as a central headquarters on an unknown planet. There are several Pirate Lords who oversee the operations of the League to ensure that all pirates within the League abide by the code. These Pirate Lords are usually heard of and have quite the bounty placed on them, however with the League being nothing but a shadow it makes hiding easier. The Pirate Lords answer to no one but each other and it is the highest possible ranking in the structure of the League.
The League has a sole rival, the Intergalactic Mercenary Guild. The League has dealt with their special branches on numerous occasions and has a certain hate for those fake pirates and many a time the two have come into conflict, whether or not the IMG believes the League to exist is another question entirely. The League prides itself on going for the big scores with careful planning, timing and strategy and when needed using their impressive fleet. You'll never know you got hit by the League. The League watches out for it's own and with only a secret signal do others recognize each other.
RANK STRUCTURE
The League has a rank structure, however it's not a widely known thing and usually you'll never know what you are until someone tells you.
The first rank is the standard, Pirate. They have access to common knowledge within the League such as the code, signal and a few locations. Pirate makes up majority of the League.
The second rank is the more impressive Elite. They are a step up from the average Pirate, having proven themselves to their peers in the League and performed impressive tasks. They have access to some more restricted knowledge within the League as well as some access to League ships.
The third rank is Shadow. These are Pirates who have proven themselves to be a special cut from the rest, they are not wide known to the League -hence their name- and are usually able to blend in wherever they need to. It's at this rank that the pirate has access to restricted knowledge, ships, locations, weaponry.
The fourth rank is Whisper. Not much is really known about this rank and it's questionable as to whether they actually exist. It's rumored that a Whisper is only second in notoriety to the Pirate Lords and that they command squadrons of League ships within the fleet.
The fifth rank is Pirate Lord. These are the absolute top of the Pirate hierarchy. There only exist a few Pirate Lords and they are the ones who oversee day to day operations within the League, they set the laws of the pirates within the League. Whilst one may have the reputation of a Pirate Lord, it does not automatically make one a Pirate Lord as another Pirate Lord must invite them to the Circle to which the other Lords must accept them.
CODE
- The League does not exist.

INNER SQUADS
The League is home to what is known as 'Inner Squads', these are groups of pirates who have banded together under one banner to help keep the secret of the League. They work as a single unit to protect the League and usually have some independence from the League and are free to act on their own so long as they keep the Code alive and provide. The most notable of these Squads are; Gold Sharks, Red Feather and Blue Storm however you'
THE CIRCLE
The Circle is the leading power of the League, the very top that anyone can be. The Circle is composed of several Pirate Lords, how many is unknown to most but it is safe to assume that there at least four of them. The Circle discusses everything about the League to further it's existence and secret and making sure their own laws are followed and enforced. It's a funny thing to see a group of pirates talk to one another as equals and friends but The Circle gets that done and takes treason very seriously within it's own doors.
To become part of The Circle is no easy feat as one must attain the reputation of a Pirate Lord and be given an invite by one the current Lords, only then do they have even the slightest chance. The other current and existing Pirate Lords must approve of the newcomer through which ever methods they deem necessary. Should the newcomer successfully be approved by the Pirate Lords then they are officially sanctioned as one and given all the benefits and privileges befitting of a Pirate Lord.
