The Alien Inquisition

It is imperative that brave soldiers and citizens willing to take the risk investigate this area of our galaxy, before the threat has a chance to spread elsewhere.

Thus, the Alliance seeks the help of not only the Interplanetary Security Commission and representatives from the militaries of the Earthland nations, but also the Intergalactic Mercenary Guild and the Magic Collective, along with various more local organizations. Complete the various missions, and you will be rewarded in a multitude of fashions, the first being to known you have helped prevent a greater catastrophe."

Welcome to Phase 1 of the Alien Inquisition. This will be the first in a series of main events, and the intent is that PCs who participate will have the ability to influence the course of events in the galaxy regarding the alien race that has revealed themselves to the nations of Earthland.

There are two intertwined parts to this event, the first being if you make a thread regarding the Alien Inquisition in the Outer Regions board, so long as it is at least 1 page in length and is completed by the end of the end of this year (2019, or 1001 U.C. ICly) you will receive additional rewards when it is being graded. This applies to missions completed within the board related to the Inquisition as well. The second part is a series of objectives to complete, in which you will have until September 30th October 31st to do so. These objectives don't necessarily have to be completed within the Outer Regions board, however they must come from new posts, not things your characters have said or done prior to the posting of this event. A maximum of 15 objectives can be done for credit for each of your characters, and if every objective is completed there will a bonus for participants. You may only complete 1 objective per post.

About the aliens
If you are in a situation where you need to know anything about alien culture or general information because of the objectives, feel free to PM or DM me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. For things such as hobbies and music, I may even have you help flesh out an idea, however please do contact me about anything lore-wise. If your character is interrogating an alien, I may answer you with "the alien won't tell your character this" due to either your character not being convincing enough or an alien not knowing. I'll compile all things people have determined in this thread.
