Name: Blitz Ranfen
Nickname/Alias: Blitz Age: 1031 Gender: Male Height: 6'3'' Weight: 185 lbs Race: Human Organization: Mage Collective Rank: Apprentice [50 REP] Orientation: Straight Alignment: Chaotic Good Appearance Physical Description: Tall, with a strong, but lean build. Has azure hair that goes a bit short of shoulder length, hanging downward, but is slightly soft - he keeps it looking nice, but isn't terribly fussy about it - his skin complexion is normal, no blemishes or abnormalities. He tends to have a relaxed pose when standing, walking, sitting, even fighting - like he's just enjoying the moment in whatever he's doing. Some people feel more relaxed themselves when around Blitz with his unusual clothes and kind smile. He's pretty broad-shouldered and has a fair amount of muscle, enough to make him seem strong without looking bulky. His muscle isn’t to the extent where you’d think he worked out everyday, with sharply defined lines or anything, but the muscle tone and shape do stand out a fair amount when he moves. His body language tends to do a 180 depending on whether he’s in or out of combat – outside of combat, he tends to seem laid-back, hands in pockets, slightly slumped posture, but in combat, his muscles are more defined in their lines, his actions more lively, quite a difference from his casual self. He tends to keep part of his bangs tucked under his hat – not for any practical reasons; just that he thinks it looks cooler that way. He has azure-colored eyes that are unusually kind for someone so obsessed with combat and magical brawls. They tend to glaze over when he’s bored or sleepy, usually right before he falls asleep on a roof or in a tree – he had a habit of nodding off in high-up places and being lucky enough not to wake up by landing on his head. He’s also grown a bit of a beard on his chin lately, Blitz thinking it looks terribly manly. Clothing: Long cargo jeans, black in color, and a jacket with gray, wolf-like fur around the edges of the collar, sleeves, and hem. The jacket is blue, a dark blue, with a flame on the front and back. Both the pants and jacket have numerous pockets. His shoes are black with black laces, The hat he wears at all times is tall with blue and white horizontal stripes, made of a felt-like material that Blitz reinforced with magic, so its strong, but flexible. The brim is only an inch or two wide, an odd contrast to the height of the hat. The pants have a pair of symbols on the lower part of the pants near the ankle, a light symbol on one side, a dark symbol on the other, Blitz's own little twist on the old light and dark or yin and yang comparison. His shoes are thick soled and sport blue lines running along the sides, with the part near the front black and the upper part white, again in line with the yinyang theme. Accessories: None. Picture: {Blitz Ranfen Image} Personality Blitz can be very fun and flexible in his passion for entertainment - he enjoys a good fight, but not seriously hurting people - he preferred to win by restraining or stopping the moves of an opponent, kind of like how you win in chess with a checkmate, but not actually toppling the king. Winning with smarts is as fun as winning with strength, even if it does lack the same kind of adrenaline rush. He also enjoys playing with his magic, trying new things or just using it to keep himself entertained. He feels happy when he does things like this, because they test his abilities and let him have fun in a way he chooses. Blitz tends to be laid back - loves to make people laugh, but knows when to be serious. He likes to make witty comments, but almost never at someone else's expense, and doesn't like it when the joke is on him. Sometimes he might tease a comrade, but only in jest, and he quickly apologizes if he feels the joke didn't go over well. He is very kind, and tends to look out for people. He has a code of sorts, nothing too strict but one he follows closely, one of chivalry, being kind and polite to girls and women at all times, and he gets furious when he sees or hears of a situation where a girl/woman is being mistreated or wronged. In battle he's laid-back, relaxed - after a fight is finished, he acts more like he just finished doing a chore like cleaning out the garage than engaging monsters with blades. Blitz is actually a bit eccentric – he remains surprisingly calm in tense or stressful situations, even being humorous – and can get an interest on something no matter what the situation is if he’s bored enough, usually an interesting gadget or magic of an opponent. To the point that, say, he’d stay to fight in a collapsing building for kicks, and to see the fancy magic the bad guy was using. The fact that he likes to invent things is another outlet for his eccentric tendencies, making wacky – if useful – gadgets for his own amusement and handiness in his daily life or combat. Stuff his like magic-absorbing guitar is the standard for the types of things he dreams up when working alone in his lab. Though he still hasn’t decided, if he opens his own factory, if the hat or guitar should be the golden item to showcase the factory’s potentials. History Blitz discovered his magic at an early age, back on Earthland before the Blight - he was little when he was sitting outside during the winter, enjoying the soft snow and brisk chill, holding a small orb of metal in his pocket which he kept on his person, and didn't look down at himself until he noticed his right arm wasn't feeling any cold, and was very surprised to see his right arm sheathed in metal. Once he ran home, worried, his parents were equally surprised, but sat him down and explained magic to him. Blitz's father was a Takeover mage and his mother was an Ex-quip mage, and Blitz kind of...got a mix of the two. Blitz spent the next few years playing with his magic - it was fun to show to the other kids around his hometown and he found handy uses for his magic, and made his parents smile with his creativity. After awhile, though, he started to feel like he wanted to explore the world a bit, see more places, more magic, and strengthen his own. With a smile and a promise to write home often, Blitz set out from his hometown to train his magic and himself. He stopped at a blacksmith a few towns away to apprentice for awhile - along with the smith knowing alot about many metals, Blitz himself was interested in metal quite a bit, as it was the base of his magic. The smith taught him ways to make and repair and upkeep weapons - when Blitz asked when he'd use this, the smith said it was a good skill to know. Blitz first began creating weapons at the smiths, not just by hand, but with his magic, too. Starting with simple things like swords, hammers, shields, he worked his way up to more complex designs - though at a very that were ridiculously flashy the smith shook his head with a laugh. Blitz liked the smith, he was gruff at times, but was kind to Blitz and had a booming laugh. Eventually, though, it came time to keep moving on, and said goodbye to the smith, receiving a small plate of steel as a token. He made friends with many other craftsman this way - a woodworker with a cold gaze but who was very patient - a chef who was brisk and very keen on being efficient, but always greeted people with a smile - a warrior monk who was strictly bound to his code and not big on talking, but didn't mind walking with Blitz and teaching him hand-to-hand combat when they set up camp for the night, showing him how to win with tactics, not just strength - a painter who was a bit strange but was very skilled, showing Blitz how to paint and color cleanly with inks and paints - and even an archer who ran into performing in one town who taught him how to use arrows Blitz made properly - how to account for wind, distance, height, etc. Along the way he found that his power was rather handy for fixing a great deal of things, so it became a hobby of sorts for him to see how many areas he could apply his magic to - crafting, cooking, repairs, all somewhat mundane, but no less useful for that fact. He made quite a bit of gold working on fixing things and even a few contests of skill, his magic being somewhat eye-catching. Once, in a store, he saw a guitar that caught his eye, and he bought it, finding it useful both as a source of entertainment and as a weapon, once he fiddled with it enough. He later added a blade to the inside of the base, a fairly large one as far as hidden blades go - he figured some things might need cutting, not bashing. He wandered the country, doing as he pleased and having fun. A few times his "fun" has ended badly for people - not so much "hurt" as "pissed off". Once in Aster Town in a bar, some architect was bragging than his creations trumped magic any day, an argument Blitz took up with gusto, though without a great deal of support. The bragger agreed to make a brawling dummy and make it fight Blitz at a place in time in the town, and both the brawling dummy and Blitz were ready at the time and place, both looking ready to fight. The resulting fight, however, leveled about five blocks and goodness knows how much jewels in property damage. Blitz won, however, if narrowly, but didn't stay long for his victory, as most of the town's architects - and citizens - weren't keen on Blitz sticking around, so he wisely decided to make himself scarce. Though he did eventually earn the forgiveness of the townsfolk, he did make a mental note to pick his battles from then on. Or at least where he fought them, if possible. He later became part of Fairy Tail, and had a multitude of adventures, some on the verge of fantasy - fighting a doppelganger in an active volcano, stopping a city from being replaced with a section of Hell, halting a Demon Invasion, helping fight in 2 different wars against Bosco (merely a rival nation at the time) among others - but once the Blight occurred, Blitz managed to narrow escape into space to avoid sharing the same fate as his home planet, using the most advanced technology he had at the time to put himself into stasis for the journey, with it set to end the stasis when he was in a livable environment again, intending for it to circle around Earthland until the Blight had blown over. Unfortunately, Blitz woke a 1000 years later on an unknown planet, as the Blight hadn't left Earthland, and worse, Blitz had been in stasis for so much longer than intended that he had not only been severely weakened from his overtime in stasis, but his memory was cloudy, as well - he couldn't recall, despite fleeing the planet to escape it, exactly what the Blight was that had alarmed him so. And so, Blitz set off to explore the new world - and galaxy - he'd become a spacefarer of, and try to piece together what had occurred during his millennia of slumber. Equipment & Items Name: Vulcan Omega 1.5 Class: A Description: A mechanical arm forged by Blitz to replace the one he lost in battle. It's set to register his body's electric signals so contact and power are on par with his other arm so that he doesn't crush things when he picks them up and can sense what he's touching with the arm. Steel gray from shoulder down. (Not surprising, being made of Steel) with a Vulcan Omega logo on the shoulder front and a fiery gear decal on the side of his shoulder. Slightly weaker in material after being held in stasis for a full millennia. Effect/Function: Laser Blast - (7) Type: Offense Range: 150m Effect: Allows Blitz to fire a beam up to 2m wide from his arm, dealing lethal damage to anything it hits. Can also be sustained for a few posts as a beam that deals critical damage. Duration: 3 posts Cooldown: 2 posts Price: 240,000 credits Price Link: bravegalaxy.boards.net/thread/179/vulcan-omega-1-5 Name: Steel Jacket Class: A Description: A side-effect of Blitz transforming into machine after machine, his body has gained similar characteristics in defense. His skin is considerably tougher, being very difficult to damage. The only effect noticeable by the eye is that the skin will actually make slight sparks when struck by metallic objects, a hint at its newer composition. While the effect has worn down some after the years in stasis, it still holds a considerable level of defense. Effect/Function: None, it's base defensive nature is it's only bonus at the moment. Price: 100,000 credits Price Link: bravegalaxy.boards.net/thread/75/steel-jacket Name: Conduit Blade Class: D Description: A blue blade with a white guard on it, a slight prong on either end of the guard on the sides, but not sharp enough to pierce. Roughly 3 feet long with a half-foot wide guard across the hilt. Slightly worn after the years in stasis. Effect/Function: While still in decent shape after the stasis, the blade's magic seems to be taking its time returning. Name: Impact Knuckle Class: D Description: A series of small, circuit-like symbols along the fingers and thumbs of both hands, royal blue in color, extending from just short of the knuckles all the way to a point just beneath the first joint on each of the fingers. Effect/Function: While the impact-like effect of the item is still dormant somewhere, until it's brought to the surface again, they're merely tech-looking tattoos. Name: Creator's Cloak Class: B Description: A veil of energy surrounding Blitz with numerous effects, faintly visible as a very faint aura of energy around him when active. Note that this does NOT serve as armor or a barrier, attacks aren't slowed or stopped by this aura. Created by a device around his neck, a dark-blue gear on a thick chain. Effect/Function: Restored to a partial-strength version of it’s former powers, it boasts a few benefits: {Creator Cloak Techniques}Thunder Veil - (5) Type: Offense/Passive Range: 2m Effect: A faint electric effect as a result of the energies within the Cloak - any enemy that gets within 2m of Blitz will be zapped with lightning, inflicting severe damage (Rank 5 damage). Goes on cooldown after one enemy is zapped. Duration: N/A Cooldown: 3 posts Hazard Guard - (5) Type: Utility/Passive Range: Self Effect: Creates a defense against detrimental effects in the nearby environment. Any debuff that would affect Blitz that's equal or lower than this technique's rank is neutralized, having no effect on Blitz, and this technique goes on cooldown (including the passive part). Duration: See Effect Cooldown: 3 posts Atmospheric Ward - (5) Type: Utility/Passive Range: Self Effect: Maintains a passive atmosphere around Blitz, enabling him to breathe even in areas where oxygen is low or lacking, such as underwater (though at this rank, not space). When activated fully, however, it provides an extra defense - both for Blitz and the space around himself, up to 50m - against environments that would normally be hazardous to one's health (though only ones that aren't a technique) for a number of posts. Note that when going underwater, it only works when less than 75m below the surface. (If the water is magical in origin, no effect if the technique that made the water is higher in Rank than this technique, and if the active effect is used, both the passive and active effects go on cooldown). Duration: 4 posts Cooldown: 3 posts Price: 3 AP Price Link: bravegalaxy.boards.net/thread/222/creators-cloak Name: Eggsy Ruins Everything, A Trilogy Class: C Description: A set of three small, porcelain eggs, contained within a leather pouch. Each egg is painted with different springtime designs and colors on it, and the pouch regenerates lost eggs between threads. Effect/Function: Each egg has its own effect, which can only be used once per thread. Upon shattering, one egg will produce a smoke screen 10 meters wide obscuring the vision of all those with an Acuity of 30 or less for up to 3 posts. The next egg produces a shield that can block up to 1 instance of intense damage, and has an area of 2 meters, with a duration of 3 posts. The final egg generates an explosion with a 5 meter radius, dealing intense damage to those caught within its blast. Name: Mistletoe Missiles Class: C Description: A set of 10 sprigs of mistletoe, their stems unusually sharp. The set is bunched together and secured with a small red ribbon, tied in a bow. Effect/Function: Each sprig acts as a C-class throwing knife, capable of dealing damage as such. However, upon being thrown, they take up the role of missiles, of a sort. So long as a target being aimed for has a heart, or a mimicry of one, the mistletoe will travel in that direction with a Speed and Power of 30, changing its course of flight if the target moves so long as they do not escape a range of 50 meters from the plant. The only way to truly destroy this effect is the destroy the sprig in question, or let it run its course. Price: Event Item Event Link: bravegalaxy.boards.net/thread/391/yuletide-2019 Name: Hospitable Hot Chocolate Class: C Description: A thermos of hot chocolate that always stays warm. It seems to always have hot chocolate in it regardless of how much is consumed, although only a finite amount of cocoa can be poured at a time. Marshmallows included, of course, although oddly enough there are only ever three at maximum. Effect/Function: Upon consuming a marshmallow, up to 1 intense injury can be healed over the duration of a single post. After doing so, a 3 post cooldown incurs, and only as many injuries can be healed as marshmallows in the hot chocolate. Price: Event Item Event Link: bravegalaxy.boards.net/thread/391/yuletide-2019 Companions {Shoop D. Whoop}Name: Shoop D. Whoop Nickname: Shoop Age: 1000+ Height: 1'3'' Weight: 20lbs Race: Hat Class: E Partner: Blitz Ranfen Appearance Physical Description: A simple blue-and-white, horizontally striped hat, made of a felt-like material that's resilient, yet flexible, the hat being about 6 inches wide in the middle, or 8 if you include the brim. Often seen atop a head. Two small depressions in the material serve as "eyes", a larger one between and below them as the "mouth". The smaller depressions are the size of the average eye, and mouth depression the same as the average mouth, so roughly an inch across for the eye depressions and about 4-5 inches for the mouth depression. It resembles a rather comical, loose-fitting top hat, one you wouldn't be surprised to see a patch on somewhere. The depressions fill with soft blue light, not enough to illuminate anything much, though. Shoop also possessed a pair of mechanical hands that Blitz outfitted him with. The hands have no arms or wrists, but function by floating within a small radius of Shoop equal to a few meters. Personality Shoop tends me be rather blunt with his statements, ones Blitz has to apologize for half the time and privately agree with the other half of the time. He's a bit of a skeptic, not usually taking things as easily as Blitz, his creator, but has been known to grudgingly admit a point now and then. He loves combat as much as his master, and delights that he's been outfitted to be able to fight himself - sitting on heads for a living gets old quickly for a sentient piece of headwear. Thankfully his master modified him to let him get around by leaping, which is unusual to see and comical at times, depending on how its done. Smaller, thinner folds above the eyes and around the mouth serve the functions that eyebrows and laugh lines would on the average person. History Created by Blitz back on Earthland, he's stuck with Blitz ever since. Blitz had intended to give sentience to an inanimate object, but had admitted - more than once - that the personality wasn't quite what he'd originally had in mind. Particularly when he's being a smartass. That said, even though their personalities clash from time to time, they've stuck together for years now, even if they argue now and then. Weaponry/Equipment None (yet!) Stats - (30) Toughness: 3 Acuity: 5 Power: 4 Speed: 3 Magical Strength: 10 Magical Fortitude: 5 Magic Magic Name(s): Mechanical Hatter Magic Type(s): Combat Backup Rank: 2 Proficiency: 1 Magic Description: A magic designed to provide support to Blitz with spells that help cover his weaknesses or compliment his strengths, such as ranged attacks when Blitz himself is mostly melee-focused, or defensive spells when Blitz usually prefers to use attack spells. These techniques often appear as simplified versions of Blitz's techniques or inventions - blasting laser, defense matrix, regeneration, etc. It's basically a line of machines and inventions in tech form that are more focused towards complementing and bolstering Blitz's own battle setup than they are about creating their own. Usually in the form of ranged options, repairs/healing, and a defense or two. His signature laser blast is....the outlier, but important to Shoop. Techniques: (3/3) Laser Blast - (2) Type: Offense Range: 15m Effect: Allows Shoop to fire a beam up to 2m wide from the top of his hat, or self, that explodes on impact in a 4m-wide explosion, causing moderate burns if hit directly, light burns if only caught in the splash zone. Duration: Instant Cooldown: 4 posts Tech Barrier - (1) Type: Defense Range: Self Effect: Creates a see-through, azure-tinted, top-hat shaped barrier around Shoop and anything in the spell's range, the barrier 2m tall and 1m wide. Can fend off a single Rank 1 tech. Can fend off a few light strikes, but will shatter after a series light strikes or a moderate strike in terms of physical attacks. Duration: 2 post Cooldown: 4 posts {Mechanical Hatter - Cantrips} Wearer's Regen - (1) Type: Utility Range: Wearer Effect: Can heal a single light wound of whoever is wearing Shoop on their head. Duration: 1 post (heals over duration of said post) Cooldown: Once per post {Morgan Freeman}Name: Morgan Freeman Nickname: Morgan Age: 1000+ Height: 0'4'' Weight: N/A Race: A.I. Class: E Partner: Blitz Ranfen Appearance Physical Description: Morgan is a floating orb of light about the size of a tennis ball, a soft pale color that’s tinged slightly orange in color, with an icon on the front of his form that glows slightly each time that Morgan speaks aloud. His actual body doesn’t give off a great deal of illumination, but does have a very faint glow of its own. Personality Morgan Freeman has a very calm demeanor, an odd contrast to Blitz’s straight-forward observations and Shoop’s snarky remarks. He also has an authoritative voice, the kind you want to stop and listen to when you first hear it. He tends to be the calmest mind at the times, never as easily agitated as other people – normally that could be attributed to being a magical personality – quite literally – if not for the attitude on Shoop in comparison. He’s good at assessing a situation in a heartbeat, just like Blitz himself is. History Created by Blitz back on Earthland, he's stuck with Blitz ever since. Blitz had already created Shoop at the time of Morgan's creation, and Blitz created Morgan as something of a balancer for Shoop's personality - where Shoop could be something of a smartass, Morgan was polite to the point of being almost clinically so. He's been useful for providing intel of different kinds ever since. Weaponry/Equipment None (yet!) Stats - (30) Toughness: 3 Acuity: 5 Power: 4 Speed: 3 Magical Strength: 10 Magical Fortitude: 5 Magic Magic Name(s): Virtual Construction Magic Type(s): Combat Utility Rank: 2 Proficiency: 1 Magic Description: Allows Morgan to create objects much in the same way Blitz does, but very visually different in that his appear to be semi-transparent constructs of digital objects, hologram projections, and other effects instead of machines of actual metal. Also enables various support functions in the form of programs or digital images, such as his Heads-Up Display or Telepathy. He basically functions as the magical equivalent of a user interface with his magic, adding utility effects and a few fluff bonuses in-between, some combat-helpful, others more of a 'quality of life' improvement. Supports Blitz's magic as Shoop's does, but unlike Shoop's, it's far more utility-focused, lacking almost any offense/defense. Techniques: (3/3) Telepathy - (2) Type: Utility Range: 20m Effect: Allows Morgan to open a channel of communication between Blitz, himself, Shoop, Crash, and anyone else who’s in range. He usually keeps the channel between Blitz and his fellow Companions open most of the time, however – cuts down on the looks Blitz gets for talking to a hat, a robot, and a light orb. And them talking back. Blitz and his Companions collectively count as 1 ‘target’ for the purposes of this technique. Maximum of 4 other targets at this rank. Duration: 3 posts Cooldown: 2 posts H.U.D. - (1) Type: Utility / Passive Range: Self / Line of Sight Effect: Allows Morgan to let Blitz have a display to show or let Blitz just know the time, temperature, weather, adding virtual indicators to things or people Blitz has already noticed to Blitz alone, and displaying any known information on the target, though this does not actually reveal any extra info on the target, only that which is already known or can be observed. And while all of that is useful, it's true purpose is for Blitz's vision - it can passively allow a series of filters, each with simple, but useful, effects. Can be enabled and disabled. Once a 'visor' is disabled, though, it's 1 post before it can be enabled again. - Rank 1: Digital Visor - Allows Blitz to 'see' streams of telecommunication, though this won't allow seeing of digital communications caused or allowed by Techniques of a Rank higher than this one, nor does it allow Blitz to see what the communication itself was or the nature of said communication, only the direction it came from and the direction it's going. Duration: N/A Cooldown: 1 post after disabling a visor (for the visor itself) {Virtual Construction - Cantrips} Graphics Glitch - (1) Type: Utility Range: 10m Effect: Can create a false construct of light and magic within [Range] of Morgan, though anyone with more than 10 Acuity will be able to tell it's a minor illusion without having to actually physically touch it. The construct itself is solid, but fragile. The construct can't be bigger than Morgan himself at this Rank (who is about the size of a baseball). Duration: 1 post Cooldown: Once per post {Crash Gravit}Name: Crash Gravit Nickname: Crash Age: 1000+ Height: 1'2'' Weight: 25 lbs Race: Robot Class: E Partner: Blitz Ranfen Appearance Physical Description: Crash is a little support bot, just barely a foot tall, with white as the main color of the body, which consists mostly of a central part that's a combination of head and torso, and two arms on the side, with blue lines of light along various points along the metal. There are two flaps on the back of his shoulder and a jet beneath, in addition to two smaller ones on his back, allowing him to float through the air with control. The head/torso is slightly domed, with two long, narrow lights serving as the eyes. Each arm has a small hand on the end with metal fingers, a small blue plate on the back holding the main fingers together. {Crash Gravit Image} Personality Crash's personality is probably the closest to Blitz's, compared to Shoop, who's usually the more arrogant of the group, and Morgan, who's always calm and informative. Crash seems to enjoy watching Blitz battle as much as Blitz himself likes battling. Though whether that's because of programming on Blitz's part or because Crash is the first combat companion that has fists with arms, it's not entirely clear. While Shoop is the one to turn to for smart-ass comments, and Morgan for pure information, Crash is more suited to combat support, both in magic and information. History Created by Blitz back on Earthland, he's stuck with Blitz ever since. The latest of Blitz's Companions, and the last one he created, after some work with gravity-manipulation technology back on Earthland. He used some of the base concepts to create the newest Companion, and tailored the personality a bit, something of a middle-ground between his other two Companions. Weaponry/Equipment None (yet!) Stats - (30) Toughness: 3 Acuity: 5 Power: 4 Speed: 3 Magical Strength: 10 Magical Fortitude: 5 Magic Magic Name(s): World Shifter Magic Type(s): Gravity Magic Rank: 2 Proficiency: 1 Magic Description: Allows Crash to manipulate gravity in various ways, including making areas anti-gravity, changing the gravity of specific targets, or even changing the direction of the gravitational pull or using it to pull, push, or crush targets. At a base level, it lets him control gravity to an extent - altering the intensity of the gravity up or down, changing the direction, even using it in a simple manner to create basic blasts of force. Techniques: (3/3) Push/Pull - (2) Type: Utility / Offense Range: 20m Effect: Allows Crash to blast a target with a surge of gravity by gesturing at them/towards them, forcing it in the direction chosen. Hits with a push/pull equivalent to 20 Toughness. Half the effect if the target has more Toughness than Blitz. Cannot be used through walls. Can be sustained as a constant push/pull, but only for 2 posts. Area is a sphere of reduced gravity, 5m both wide and tall from the targeted spot, though Crash can make it smaller if need be. Inventor - Spending time and energy creating new builds for his magic has helped his creative side in other areas, causing him to begin experimenting with gadgets of his own making, his proudest one thus far being his guitar, on par with his mechanical arm. Unorthodox Combat – Blitz has learned the value of a surprise attack, both in terms of unseen strikes and unexpected ones, and has adapted his fighting style to use his powers and surroundings as much as possible. Hardy – Years of transforming into machines and toughening his body have made him highly resistant to physical pain. Granted, this doesn’t reduce the damage, but he’s able to keep his reactions in check and be less fazed by wounds that would send normal mages into shock. Machine Master – Blitz’s understanding of machines, after both using and becoming them for years, lets Blitz learn the purpose of any piece of technology or machinery in a short time, and how to operate it within moments. Combat Master – Having fought more varieties of foes than most even see in a lifetime, and having encountered all kinds of strength levels, Blitz has a knack for being observant when judging the strength of his foe. Magic Name: Living Weapon Magic Type: Takeover Magic Proficiency: 5 Rank: 6 Description: Allows Blitz to transform parts of his body in weapons of metal - as ranks increase, the metal gets stronger. This also allows him the use of various mechanical weapons and abilities, including flight, strength, and the like. Mainly used for the base performance increases in melee combat at first, but also branches out into other areas of machinery and weaponry. Also allows him to alter parts of his form as needed to swap weapons and techs according to the situation, sometimes in conjunction with lightning-based effect. Basically, can create a variety of effect by using machines as a medium, though of course, the more basic machine functions are easier than the complex ones. Weapons and the like are simple enough, stuff that launches blasts more complex, and others that create very specific things slightly more so. In short, Blitz, being combat-focused, excels in machines regarding offense and defense, and less so on utility (meaning the support ones are less complex). Techniques: (14/14) + 10/10 = 24/24 Total Double Knuckle - (6) Type: Takeover Form Range: Self Effect: Turns Blitz's body into steel, and increases the size of his fists to be up to 3m wide (though he can create them to be reduced in size, they have to start that way). Duration: 5 posts Cooldown: 3 posts Stat Points Gained: +70 Power {Natural Equipment Gained} Name: Steel Body Class: B Description: The steel material that Blitz's Takeover form is made of. Effect/Function: Defense as a resistant material, but nothing magical beyond what the technique itself grants. Name: Claymore Class: B Description: A sword nearly as long as Blitz is tall, for those times when Blitz needs both physical might and an edged weapon. 0.3m in width, 1.2m long, 2.3kg in weight. Effect/Function: A basic weapon. Name: Backsword Class: B Description: A sword for times when the battlefield is indoors, or other areas that the larger claymore isn't suitable, only edged on one side, allowing blunt strikes with the back. 0.4m long, 1.2kg in weight. Effect/Function: A basic weapon. Name: Shield Class: B Description: A circular shield that pairs with the short sword. 0.5m in diameter, 1kg in weight. Effect/Function: Defense, designed to keep foes at bay in fights with the short sword. {Double Knuckle Techniques - 20 TP} Rocket Fist - (6) Type: Offense Range: 60m Effect: Launches Blitz's fist (or fists) off the end of his wrists, propelled by flaring rockets. He controls the launch's direction, and the fist(s) after they launch, but cannot fly outside of the max range of this tech – they will vanish and reappear on the end of Blitz’s wrists if they fly out of range. Blitz can now control the fists at will, moving and directing the fist(s). Note that the fists themselves don’t do any extra damage other than being metal, just used as a means to extend the range of Blitz’s punches. Caps at 60 Power and Speed, and can only have 2 fists airborne at the same time at most, obviously. B-Class in durability. Duration: 5 posts Cooldown: 2 posts for each fist after launching. Crush Knuckle - (6) Type: Offense Range: 30m (for shockwave) Effect: Allows Blitz to release an expanding orb shockwave of force from his fist that expands up to 30m in diameter in all directions, knocking back anything it comes into contact with (except Blitz himself). If the object/target has less Power than Blitz, they are knocked back up to 10m. No effect if the target has 60 Power or more. Leaves craters almost 30m across if used on an unprotected surface. It can also be focused to be condensed into a single punch that doesn’t create a shockwave, but packs the crushing effect of a Rank 6 tech into his punch, along with whatever Power he possesses in that moment already, dealing critical damage to the target, but not setting off an AoE effect. Either method sets off the cooldown. Duration: N/A Cooldown: 2 posts Jump Jets - (6) Type: Utility Range: Self Effect: Creates a small jet engine on Blitz’s back while transformed, allowing him to fly. Can fly up to 250m high. Note, however, that because this flight form is bound to Blitz’s Takeover form, no Speed buff is applied. The jet itself is about the size of a baseball. Duration ends early if the jet is destroyed, which is B-Class. Can carry up to 100kg extra while flying. Duration: 5 posts Cooldown: 2 posts Double Up - (2) Type: Utility Range: Self Effect: Creates a second pair of arms, anchored at Blitz’s shoulders, D-Rank in durability. Duration: 2 posts Cooldown: 4 posts Digital Barrier - (6) Type: Defense Range: Self Effect: Allows Blitz to create small, square projector on his chest that creates an orb-like barrier around Blitz that protects him from every angle, even below and above. The barrier is roughly 25m in diameter, big enough to cover Blitz and two other people. Things can leave the barrier going to outside from inside freely. The Barrier is azure-tinted blue and transparent. Can block a Rank 6 tech, or 3 Rank 5s, etc, before breaking, or one instance of critical damage (or a few instances of severe damage) before breaking. Duration: 5 posts Cooldown: 2 posts Slam Cannon - (6) Type: Offense Range: Melee Effect: Blitz forms a field of electrical energy around his arm and fist that creates a burst of energy in the form of physical force when he punches something and makes contact, the damage from the tech able to deal critical damage to anything it hits. Duration: Instant Cooldown: 2 posts Override - (6) Type: Utility Range: Melee Effect: Allows Blitz to hijack control of a machine (hardware or software) on contact and control it with his magic, using short electrical bursts. If the machine in question was created (or is controlled already) by a Ranked technique, this technique must exceed the Rank of that technique. Items of A-Class and above are unaffected. Note that for this technique, ‘machines’ are considered anything with an engine, or something mechanical run by software or magic. (So he couldn’t hijack a gun and make it shoot, but he could hack an elevator to make it change floors) Duration: 4 posts Cooldown: 2 posts {Living Weapon Magic - Cantrips}
Iron Spark - (3) Type: Offense Range: 9m Effect: Allows Blitz to create a minor blast of lightning (more like a giant, glorified spark than actual lightning at this rank), only capable of dealing intense damage if it hits something. Duration: N/A Cooldown: Twice per post Iron Ward - (3) Type: Defense Range: 3m Effect: Creates a 3m square of metal a few inches thick in the air, C-Class in durability, only capable of stopping a single instance of intense damage. Blitz can hold it in the air with this technique, but only for a short time, and can only hold one up at a time. Duration: 1 post (on holding the square in place) Cooldown: Twice per post Mechanized Melee - (3) Type: Offense Range: Melee Effect: Allows Blitz to add an extra burst of force to his melee attacks, dealing additional damage in the form of physical force, dealing intense damage to whatever he hits. Duration: N/A Cooldown: Twice per post

Brave Galaxy is set in a world loosely based on Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail and Eden’s Zero. It is a PG-13 or so rated space fantasy RP, and uses a combination of character statistics, which can be acquired via roleplaying and events, and creative freedom to help direct players’ characters. While there is a main storyline, which can be found in the events section, characters are free to interact with others and their environment however they see fit.
