Post by moonlitrain on Oct 24, 2019 21:40:46 GMTName: Emily Winter Age: 18 Gender: FemaleHeight: 5’6” Weight: 120 lbs Race: Plain old human Organization: None Rank: D [0 REP]. Orientation: Asexual. Alignment: Chaotic evil. Appearance Physical Description: Emily’s a petite, pretty girl with fiery red hair that hair frames a pretty face. Her jawline is narrow and she has fine bones in her face. Her skin is a pale alabaster and seems nearly translucent. She usually lets her hair flow and cascade in fiery locks although sometimes wears it up especially in a combat situation. Her build is slim and if she's wearing bulky clothing, her curves are more concealed. She can dress and act provocatively if it means that she can get people to do what she wants. Her arms are toned from all of her dagger throwing and she has delicate hands that are surprisingly strong and callused from wielding her knife. She is well-coordinated and moves with a certain grace. At some point, she may acquire a more modern weapon, but there’s nothing like the old standbys to fall back on. Clothing: In day to day life, Emily really dresses in whatever is the current norm. She understands how to coordinate outfits and what to wear to attract or distract attention. As life is mostly acting to her, she simply wears what fits the role. One day she may be dressed as a lowly street beggar and another day as a high tone wealthy young woman. When it comes to more combat oriented roles, you will find her in a one piece bodysuit made of a variety of flexible synthetic materials with pockets for her knives. This suit allows ease of movement in action situations. Accessories: Emily is always carrying her throwing knives and her dagger. Emily loves silver earrings and often wears an assortment of silver, gold and bronze bracelets that she makes herself (at least when she has the ability to do so). She also wears a special charm at her neck that is one of the few reminders of her past. It consists of a half-moon shaped silver pendant hanging from a leather string. Picture: Personality Emily, despite her cute and rather naïve appearance is not someone to trifle with. Underneath that innocent exterior, a dark and psychotic mind fulminates and dreams of murder. You’d never know if on first meeting her, as she seems a bit silly and definitely not capable of focusing on much of anything, but she is constantly plotting and planning on precisely the ways in which she can either exploit you or murder you to get what she needs (or because she can). There are things in Emily that come from somewhere that is deadly and dead. She may be human on the surface, but something in her is so completely alien as to render her unable to comprehend true emotions and feelings. It’s possible for her to mimic them but never to actually experience them. One thing that no one should ever do is trust Emily. Never, ever trust her. She is going to ruthlessly exploit and destroy that trust in any way that is possible once she knows a target is giving it to her. She often does this so subtly that the poor target doesn't realize that they've been had until it is far, far too late. Of course, those targets should count themselves lucky that she hasn't done worse. If there isn't any way that a target can be manipulated, but she still wants something from them that she absolutely must have, chances are that she'll just murder them. Nobody stops her from getting those things for which she truly has a "need" and so they'll just have to die. So as she goes through the world, this psychotic redhead simply takes ruthless steps to ensure that she will continue to get any advantage possible. The people of this new world in which she finds herself had better watch out! History It’s hard to know how Emily became the twisted mess that she is at the moment. There was nothing remarkably bad or negative about her childhood. She was raised by two hard-working parents in a home where she never wanted for anything and grew up free of any influences that could explain her abrupt transformation into what she is today - a manipulative psychopathic murderer. There’s no doubt, though, that Emily’s nothing but a whole lot of bad trouble. Emily’s dark side surfaced slowly, percolating up like some poison through her soul. Her father was a blacksmith and her mother tended the family’s vegetable garden and sold the produce at the market. Everything in their lives was full of peace and relative comfort until “the incident” occurred. One day, when Emmy was 12 years old, she invited one of her friends into her father’s workshop to show him all of the tools. The only problem is that she also insisted on testing the tools on him. Luckily, her father intervened before the damage extended beyond a nasty cut delivered to the boy’s forearm, but after that everything began to deteriorate. Her parents were appropriately disturbed by this action and sought the advice of the village wizard. The poor old man was so horrified and flustered by what Emily had done that he recommended her parents cast her out. Like all caring parents, they tried to protect their child and didn’t follow his recommendation. Instead, they kept her away from other children and close to home until they discovered that the girl was meddling with dark magic after breaking into the wizard’s house and stealing a dark grimoire that he kept heavily locked up and warded. No one is quite sure how this teenage girl with some magical potential, but no training managed to break the wards. That was the last straw and Emily was summarily cast out and began to wander the world taking charity from strangers, lying, cheating, stealing and killing when necessary (or because she felt like it) along the way. The journeys and events that filled her life were dark, dangerous and quite often daemonic. She met many people, lied to many people and left more bodies behind her. However, a new chapter in our mad little creature’s journey has just begun. The future is about to meet Emily Winter and its hard to say who’s going to come on top. After the evil being known as Zeph opened a series of temporal gates, our redheaded madwoman fell through one. This was highly entertaining to her since she and Zeph had once discussed these gates and now she got a ride through one. Name: Wolves Teeth Class: A Description: Emily has become the skilled user of three 1.37 kg, 19 cm long throwing knives that she did a great deal of practicing with while she was still allowed to run free by her parents. Stats - 100 Toughness: 15 Acuity: 20 Power: 20 Speed: 20 Magical Strength: 15 Magical Fortitude: 10 Earned Stat Points Earned: 0/0 Arc Points Earned: 0/0 Credits Earned: 10,000/10,000 Sources Character Creation 10,000 Credits Skills & Disciplines Emily has a very high ability to use knives in a myriad of terrifying ways. Whether she's throwing them, wielding them in a fight or stealthily slitting a throat with them from behind, she's got all the skills necessary. Although she prefers her own weapons, she can certainly use any knife she gets her hands on well enough. Her second set of skills has to do with all things deceptive. She can manipulate people to get whatever she wants. She's a grade A liar and since she's not capable of feeling emotion, but pretty good at mimicking it she can generally pull off a whole range of reactions. If she needs to use seduction, she will despite not really being interested in the physical side of desire. She does not let that seduction go beyond words or the occasional touch however. Magic Name(s): Black Ice Type(s): Elemental Manipulation - Ice Proficiency: 2 Rank: 2 Techniques: 5/5 Description(s): Black Ice allows Emily the ability to use the properties of ice as offense and defense. She can create deadly blades of ice, entrap her opponents in an outer casing of ice and bombard them with ice missiles. She can also build a shield out of ice, coat the floor around her feet with a slippery sheet of ice for defensive purposes or create a layer of ice on her skin in order to render it difficult to gain a grip on her body. She is also able to manipulate existing ice if she can get her hands on it. She can fashion it into different objects as well as strengthen and weaken its structure within limits in order to use it for her own purposes. She can, of course, also transform limited areas of water into ice but the area can be no more than several square meters in size. The one thing, as befits someone singularly self-absorbed like Emily, is that her magic has no provision for the support of others.(Ice Rapier) - (2) Type: Offensive Range: Melee Effect: Creates a 41 cm, 1 kg D-class blade with a serrated edge out of ice. Brave Galaxy is set in a world loosely based on Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail and Eden’s Zero. It is a PG-13 or so rated space fantasy RP, and uses a combination of character statistics, which can be acquired via roleplaying and events, and creative freedom to help direct players’ characters. While there is a main storyline, which can be found in the events section, characters are free to interact with others and their environment however they see fit.
