Brave Galaxy is set in a world loosely based on Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail and Eden’s Zero. It is a PG-13 or so rated space fantasy RP, and uses a combination of character statistics, which can be acquired via roleplaying and events, and creative freedom to help direct players’ characters. While there is a main storyline, which can be found in the events section, characters are free to interact with others and their environment however they see fit.
Explore the galaxy. Overcome the obstacles in your path. Shape the future of humanity.
The plasma splashed over the Trump Card, cracks quickly webbing across the surface. The second shot started to charge, and Gio knew that there was no way that the card would hold for another blast. A metal card slipped from inside his sleeve, and with a flick of his wrist, Gio sent the Ace of Bells soaring through the air, embedding into the turret with a flurry of sparks. Meanwhile, J.J. crackled onto Gio's comms, a snide glimmer in her voice. Gio, on the other hand, groaned, clearly having not quite shaken off the sizeable tumble.
"So... according to my sensors you just dropped down to the main level." "Yeah." "On... purpose?" ". . . yeah." "And did you know you were transmitting this whole time?"
Gio ignored J.J.'s taunting, rolling over, picking himself off the floor, and dusting himself off. Dammit. It was half as cold out here as it was outside! Whatever. It was fine. He just had to find his way to the vase. That's all that mattered. And he had to hope that that cowardly security guard kept to his station. So far he hadn't activated an alarm. Gio wasn't sure if that was encouraging or horrifying, given the fact that there were definitely at least two intruders already. Either the guard was utterly incompetent... or that there were such high level security measures further in that he isn't worried.
For that reason, Gio decided that every corner would be approached with caution. There was no way he was going to let himself be caught off guard, now that he was on the ground. He cast a Trump card in the doorway, looking through the barrier to check for turrets and cameras. He rolled a pair of spectral dice into the room, counting out the targets and hoping that the numbers would play in his favor. A camera and two turrets... if he could knock them both out, he would be able to enter the room undisturbed. The dice began to glow with spectral energy as Gio ducked back behind the corner, waiting for the sounds of shattering machinery to grace his ears.
{Loaded Dice - 3} Type: Light - Delayed Projectile Range: 20m Effect: Gio points out a target, summoning two spectral dice which fly out (up to 5m) towards the target, rolling on the ground. The target may choose the result of the dice roll during their next post. On Gio's next post, the dice sends out 2-12 twinkling, golden, beam-like projectiles, which travel 15m in the direction of the target, dealing [INTENSE] damage, split evenly across all projectiles.
If the target does not choose a dice result, the attack will default to 7 projectiles. [DUR 2; CD 3]

Yes, it was time to stop messing around. All of the turrets present throughout the facility were only petty threats in the grand scheme of things, quickly eliminated by a variety of factors. At least that was the case for rest of the long hallway they were in, his knife winding its way through the ranks of barrels. Withdrawing it back to him once the corridor was clear, Leo's hand found its hilt, examining the newly rugged edge of the blade. "Oh, it broke." Whether a result of continuous impact or the shadows encapsulating it he was unsure, but regardless he had a sudden impulse to destroy the knife in its entirety, it wasn't worth enough to repair anyway, was it? Then again, one thing would only lead to another, and another, and so on, he knew that by now. It was a downward spiral he faced, one he didn't want to descend into in the first place.
Eris shook her head, drawing him away from his thoughts. "Try using a sword next time, I don't even know when or where you got that thing," she answered.
"I have more!" Leo exclaimed, although the knife in question vanished from sight as he drew Dualist. With the toggle of a switch the longsword split into two, although he maintained a grip on both for the moment.
"Yeah Leo, I know that. I keep on telling you to stop buying them, remember?"
"Sure," he replied, mildly dismissive with a tinge of disappointment also present. She glared at him for a moment, before returning to the map she held.
"Anyway, it's down another hall to the exhibition room. Let's get going." Leo nodded in agreement and thus they set out in tandem, turning the corner to be greeted with yet another turret. Ducking out of the way of the plasma that discharged, he flung List in the direction of the barrel, its edge crackling in black energy. A brief hiss and the turret fell silent, dangling from the ceiling.
"Okay seriously, this is getting old. Couldn't they be any more creative?"
"Apparently not. There's our door," Eris said, pointing in the direction of a steel slate that automatically rose as they neared it. Yet as they entered the room, the door opposing also slid open, revealing the truth of the operation at hand.
From his cover, Gio could hear the dice unload, met with an orchestra of crunching metal and sparks. Gio peered around the corner, finding two turrets, a camera, and several points along the wall to be fairly badly singed. It wasn't pretty, but it got the job done. And at the end of the day, he supposed that was all that mattered. He touched a hand to his ear, passing a message on to J.J.
"Might be at the main vault. Security's a bit tighter over here. "
"Proceed with caution, G."
Given his luck so far, she didn't have to ask him twice. Gio summoned a trump card on his side of the door with one hand while tapping at the screen next to the door with the other. Four digit code, four smudges on the screen. That meant... 24 different possible combinations. Gio liked those odds
Gio typed his first attempt: sequential order. No brainer. The dataped rapidly beeped a warning:
"Incorrect Passcode. Please type carefully and try again.
Alright. Fine. Obviously not a winner. Maybe it was a date? It just so happened that some of the numbers lined up with the Gala celebrating the Exodus... So all Gio had to do was match the year-
"Incorrect Passcode. Additional failed attempts will initiate full facility lock down."
Gio grimaced, covering his face with one hand. It seemed that the gambler was lamenting his fate for a moment, if you couldn't hear his muttering, that was.
"Eeny... meeny... miney moe..."
Inside, the vault was quiet and dark, the faint glow of red was barely perceptible, the only hallmark of the laser grid which cross-crossed the miniature gallery. The blast door were hidden away, concealed in the seams and frames of the doors and windows. The immaculate white space was peaceful and serene... until a rapid beeping respunded from one side of the room, a door sliding open to reveal Giovanni Selvano, Professional Theif... looking utterly shocked.

Leo held his arm out in front of Eris just as she was about to take another step, the crisscross of lasers revealed before his eyes. At last they seemed to be free of the monotony of turrets, although in its stead was a more problematic obstacle, or at least one he couldn't simply force his way through. Beyond the grid, however, lay their prize upon a solitary pedestal. Yet the vase was not what his gaze was drawn to, another had managed to slip his way into the chamber, a slight man with clothing inappropriate to their current locale and a shiver to match it. He certainly was no guard, what with the bewilderment present on his visage, which meant that he was likely a member of one of the organizations in opposition to IMG. Leo smirked.
"Hello!" he called out cheerfully, in which Eris's hand started to move toward him in a slapping motion, although it halted. Instead, a vine uncoiled from beneath her fingertips, snaking its way through the crimson diagram present throughout the room. Leo assisted her by way of muttering a few directions, although he was mostly focused on the man opposing them, Dua and List both now firmly in his grip. He eventually found the toggle to their blunt mode, the reluctance evident even in the minute gesture. Technically the man was not an employee of the complex, so by the fine print it meant that lethal force was not prohibited in his case. His mind had almost latched onto that rationale, however it was ablated not by any moral obligation but by a most personal one. He didn't want to face her disappointment, couldn't stand to right then and there.
It was all going well, until the lasers suddenly shifted in their positions. Immediately, bright lights flickered on, accompanied by a high pitch whining as the true alarm system was triggered. He barely had the time to mutter a curse before the doors around them slammed shut, or at least did so temporarily. The sudden flood of life, it was apparent that the denizens of the complex had ended their idle watch, now swiftly approaching. Momentary containment, followed by brutal execution, a part of him admired what a clever strategy it was. That was only a small fraction of his being, however, a much larger portion was caught in irrational anxiety, glancing around the room desperately for an escape before his mind settled on a far more convoluted plan, nonsensical even. With that, he charged toward the man who had undoubtedly begun to move toward the vase himself, the tint of shadows catching his feet as Leo would attempt to tackle him to the ground.
Zeariad - 1 A more basic version of Aggrandizear, Zeriad allows Eris to be in constant control of up to 2 cubic meters of plant matter, all things under her influence having a Power, Speed, and Toughness of 10. Any flora she controls cannot move outside a 5 meter radius of her person, otherwise she loses the ability to manipulate it. While basic additions such as thorns transfer over to whatever she controls, any magical effects a plant might have is not extended to additional growths.
Svifagryn - 2 Accelerating through shadows, Leo is capable of dashing up to 10 meters away at an additional 20 Speed comparative to the value of the statistic at any given moment. This dash is situational in categorization, and can be used once per post.
