Brave Galaxy is set in a world loosely based on Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail and Eden’s Zero. It is a PG-13 or so rated space fantasy RP, and uses a combination of character statistics, which can be acquired via roleplaying and events, and creative freedom to help direct players’ characters. While there is a main storyline, which can be found in the events section, characters are free to interact with others and their environment however they see fit.
Explore the galaxy. Overcome the obstacles in your path. Shape the future of humanity.
"Yeah... forgive me if I don't take your word on it, chief." she dismissed, grabbing the case and popping it open.
Inside she found exactly what... he said would be in there... Well shit.
"Eeeuyuh... Sorry about the rough and tumble introductions, Citizen," Jak breathed apologetically.
Finally unpinning him from the sidewalk, she scooped his glasses off the ground, handing them over as a flash of light changed her appearance, swapping herself back into the white armor she normally donned. While it still her own personal armor, she found that it had a bit more of a heroic flair to it than her more casual attire. As she did, she let her hair down, clearly not anticipating any more 'action', at this point.
"So... You look like shit," she remarked, another object offered to the man, "Sorry bout that. Have some cocoa."
She smirked. "Real good part is the marshmallows. Trust me."
As Haydn started to get himself... situated, Jak didn't waste any time, instantly butting her nose in where it didn't belong. Still, clearly this guy had been pretty scared by her. Which means that he had something to be pretty scared of. And, honestly, what was the job of the Peacekeeping Division than to protect the citizenry of the galaxy in ways that local law enforcement could not? So, arms crossed, Jak leaned against the cold brick, a knowing, mournful expression plastered across her face. Not of someone who had sussed out some hidden meaning, but of someone who had been in that same place, before.
"So. You got trouble, eh?" she mused, "Well, trouble's what I'm good with. Especially... organized trouble, if that's the problem."
"Listen. I know what it's like to live on the run. Feel like they're always watching you. Always one step behind. Or ahead. Always waiting to 'put you in your place'... It's no way to live."
As she spoke, the somberness of her voice didn't show any sign of breaking. And, more than that, the shift in tone was probably the most unnerving part of it, Jak having gone from an apologetic, yet playful quality... into the inflection of an old friend, offering their condolences.
"That's what I wanted to talk to you about back in the diner. Hoped we could do it without... this?" she explained, gesturing around them, "But uh... you clearly needed help. And if you're willing to accept it, I'm offering."
Jak offered her hand, "My name is 2nd Lieutenant Jak Rousseau, ISC: Peacekeeping Division. What can I do to help you, Citizen?"
