[Arc] Fragmentation

Inception: A simple task. Kill the man, leave no witnesses. It was not the usual kind of mission they were sent on, but ethics mattered not, the target had betrayed IMG and needed to be eliminated. Viktor Tolokonsky had also crossed various organizations, the Magic Collective being one of them, leading the two to coincidentally run into a new friend of theirs, Blitz Ranfen. Along the way, though, things take a horrible turn for the worse, and facing his own and others’ death something clicks within Leo, a something terrifying, unknown to his modern self.

Deluge: Magic. For most, a dream come true, for him, a waking nightmare. His had been sealed long ago, in order to prevent the catastrophe that could have resulted otherwise. Unnatural, uncontrollable, it had been the only logical course of action at the time, and over time he grew to appreciate it, despite a certain emptiness inside. He had always assumed it was permanent, for himself and Eris had never imagined they would survive longer than life on Earthland did. Yet time and pressure creates fissures, and at that time the chasm split wide open, revealing its horrifying depths. Consequences put aside for the moment the group escapes, only to find themselves on the run from a far more formidable force.

Apex: The Ebony Hunters. A notorious group known for their anti-occult beliefs and practices, and even more so for their blatant ignorance of the law. Leo and Eris had always kept close tabs on them, however had proceeded with little concern before. However, an agent of the organization, Eric Lassoile, had witnessed the disaster that was their assignment, capture, and break out, and set many hunters against them. In a race against time and force alike, they journey to their final location, in an attempt to restore the balance broken.

Respite: Maescia Illivarus, a descendant of the elf who fashioned the original seal for Leo’s magic. Seeking a peaceful solution, the attempt however is in vain, and he must come to terms with a rude awakening neither expected nor wanted, and the inevitable consequences both internally and externally to follow.

Notes:
Somewhat obvious, considering the nature of the arc, but Leo's stats used in the threads will not line up with what’s on his profile currently. After this arc he will be getting more techniques and the like, though still not to the same extent, which is the primary purpose for the arc.
