As Gio reprimanded Laelynn on her cocky remark, she immediately prepared a rebuttal, only to be cut off as an unknown third party entered the conversation through her ear piece. Laelynn's emoji switched to presenting a large question mark upon her visor, searching across the room to no avail, before her eyes rested upon the most logical conclusion, the fancy double door they came in from.
"Yep.~" In response to Gio's remark that they had overstayed their welcome here, Laelynn was cut short as the room filled with an ominous sound, the laser system not only flickering back to life, but with even more power *and* more lasers than before! Had the third party rerouted power so the previous sensor type lasers became weaponized? Regardless, the method mattered not, as now both of them were in cramped conditions, surrounded by high intensity lasers from all angles as the unknown figure made their appearance into the metaphorical stage!
//Well, ain't that a fancy name...// Commenting on "Gee's" full name, began to grow upon Laelynn's brow, both from stress and the sudden increase of heat, she listened to the third party's monologue, meticulously scanning the room for a clear, easy path they could escape through, but no such luck.
As the unknown entity, unbenownst to Laelynn as Hale then spoke about not being aware of her identity, but continued then to state he was fine collecting a bounty upon her as well, she was immediately irritated. "Hey! I'll have you know I'm kind of a big deal on Elseima!" Though, upon saying that, now remembering she never bothered to re-install her voice synthesizer into her suit, Laelynn pressed both hands across her mouth, her visor shifting to the "disappointed" emoji, now realizing she not only gave a bounty hunter her voice, but the name of the planet which did have a bounty on her! "...I...really shouldn't have said that, huh...?" She muttered, mostly directed at Gio but still in a way that it seemed she was also addressing Hale second handedly. Though, in that mistake through hubris, an idea sparked in Laelynn's head.
"Still, ya' got us good.~ My associate here told me he met the creator of the security system, I trust that's you?" Laelynn then began to direct her visor to look around the room to the control panels, lasers, and even pressure plates, all while slowly yet casually crossing her arms behind her back, using her childish body language and the conversation make the motion seem more like that of innocent curiosity than one of dangerous intent. "It's completely state of the art, I could never make somethin' this good in ten years!~ How long did'it take for ya' to figure out the design?~" Despite sounding as sincere as she could, Laelynn behind her visor held a look of disgust, the only thing holding her back from throwing up as she uttered those words being the fact that her suit was a closed system. Still, as she saw Hale's example of the lasers power, she was hesitant to recklessly stress test her suit's durability against their lasers.
Yet, with all that fancy monologuing, Laelynn suspected the bounty hunter had quite a sense of ego, and if there was anything arrogant inventor's loved, it was talking about their work and being praised for their work. She was trying to buy them time, hoping Gio would catch on considering how her opinion on Hale's inventions did a complete one-eighty. Two minutes? Thirty seconds? It didn't matter, she'd settle for anything, as long as it got her closer to using her ace in the hole, subtly inputting into her suit the command to bring two, strange, palm sized spheres behind her back, holding one with each hand and giving them a light squeeze.

{OOC Summary}I got to posting early today as my sleep schedule is a bit better. Lol. To clarify the last part, Laelynn summoned both her "T.A.C" devices and activated them, as there is a time delay before the charges go off, and the reason she is trying to buy a bit of time. If you want me to change that part since it's technically ex-quip and there's the anti magic field, feel free to let me know, but I was going ICly that once the suit is on, that process is done through ether and electricity, rather, more scientifically than magically.
