Gio pressed one finger to his earpiece, talking to a voice only he could hear.
"So, tell me more about this dude." Gio probed, "He's not a loser, right?"
"You know I normally match you with people of your skill level, Gee... But no. This time, I figured I'd hire someone who wasn't a loser."
Gio's hand quickly went to his heart, comedically miming a heart attack for... no one else but himself.
"J., baby, you wound me~!" "Cut the baby, crap. Gee. Last warning." "Right. Sorry. I'll let ya know when I make contact, yeah?" "You do that." "Right. Over and out, then."
Gio leaned back again, looking over the busy streets. Pumpkiny oranges and milk chocolate browns patterned the banners and streamers. Bundles of straw dotted the sidewalks, acting as festive seating arrangements for anyone too tuckered out by the events of the day. A few pumpkins, clearly platic and fake, dotted the streets, some being carried or worn by the various pedestrians and passers by. Among the crowd, faces were painted with various depictions of The Reaper, Spirits of the Harvest, and even one particularly ecstatic kitty-cat. It was the second night of celebrations here, though looking at the energy of the people, everything was fresh and new. The sound of laughing children and wandering musicians polluted the air with the sounds of merriment.
Gio himself wasn't really interested in all this rabble. It was how the commoners celebrated the holiday. Thanking harvest spirits, or even paying homage to some grim spectre symbolizing the changing of the seasons. He'd left that life behind him a long time ago. He was, in all but coffers, a noble. And he dressed as such. His normal attire would be perfectly fine, should he need to blend in to the party at the manor... and an ornate black mask around his eyes. A masquerade. That's was their window into the vault. While all the drunken snobs were playing grab-ass in the ballroom, they'd be robbing them all blind.
Gio adjusted his corsage, a white flower with a purple center, looking almost like an eyeball sitting on his chest. J.J. had told him to wear it; said his contact would be wearing one to match. For now, he just had to wait. The next hour would be crucial. Not only did they need to iron out their approach, but they also would have to actually enact it, whatever that might mean. They could always sneak in through a back entrance, though Gio was the sort that liked to hide in plain site. In the end, he supposed it didn't matter. A good plan often didn't survive the field, while a bad one could be salvaged with enough chutzpah. Still, while he had the time, Gio supposed he could spend it bad-mouthing the new guy.
"I'd be surprised if this dude is half as cool as me"
J.J.'s voice crackled back onto the coms, a smile on her lips "Oh... I think you'll be surprised, alright!"
((OoC: J.J. knows, but Gio does not. Anyways~ J.J. is waiting for a text-based message from Laelynn to let her know she has arrived. It's about that time that she's gonna let Gio in on the secret that "The Cat Burglar" that he's waiting for is actually a 16 year old girl, hahahah~))

"Aauugh! The job hasn't even started yet and I already hate it. Usually at least takes five minutes in fer' that ta'happen...~" Within the confines of her ship, Laelynn crossed her arms, staring into a mirror scowling, donning very out of character, harvest themed holiday apparel consisting of a warm, orange wool, long sleeve shirt, an earthy brown long skirt, and matching stockings along with her regular footwear. "Miss Morbane, if you are so displeased, why not use your regular attire?"
"Because P.A.L, I'll be sticking out like a sore thumb if I wear my usual hoodie. Sneaking around ain't just bout' being out of sight, sometimes it's bout' blending in. Still wishin' I asked fer' more details before joinin' in though...We hear any updates from our new friend by the way?" "Negative. Orders are as before. Send a secure message upon arrival, and wear a white corsage with a purple center for identification." "Greeaat, I wonder who we'll be meetin' over there..."
Laelynn mused, would she get an experienced professional, or some up start punk that'll land them both in jail, or maybe somewhere inbetween. Either way, there was only one way to find out. "Should take me round' fifteen minutes to get to the rendezvous point, so send our confirmation message to them that I'm arriving in fourteen minutes and forty-five seconds, got it P.A.L?" "Affirmative.~" Delicately adjusting the corsage into her hair and placing it above her left ear, and a cat like masquerade mask tilted to her right side from a string, Laelynn signed, the thought of their prize, and sticking it to some rich arse keeping her driven.
Close to on schedule, maaaybe a minute or two late, Laelynn made her way to where the duo was supposed to meet, mask now properly in place, and a candied apple on a stick tightly grasped in her right hand, which totally wasn't the cause of her tardiness.~ //Nooow then, wheeere to loook...?// Eyes relaxed, yet observant, Laelynn casually shifted through the crowds, until eventually finding her soon to be heist buddy. A tall man with silver hair, porcelain skin, and slim build, donning both the white and purple corsage, and a fancy masquerade mask. //Yep, that fits the bill.~//
Though the thought of having a bit of fun and trying to sneak up on her new partner in crime was her first thought, she decided it better for both their sakes to arouse as little attention as possible, merely strolling her way up to Gio in an ever so innocent, yet confident manner from their side. "Hiya.~ Cool corsage ya' got there, looks a lot like mine.~" Laelynn took a bite of her candied apple, tilting her head in a way that clearly presented her own corsage, and giving a bit of a catty smirk. After all, there was just something amusing to her when people realized someone of her age and size was a professional in her field, much to their disbelief.
{OOC} -To clarify, P.A.L is basically Laelynn's ship AI, and she instructed them to send the message "in" 14 minutes and 45 seconds, not to send the message immediately of her timeframe. Lol.

J.J.'s voice crackled onto the comms again, letting Gio know that his contact was on-location... But no matter how hard he scanned, he couldn't see any flowers, let alone one in purple and white. It was frustrating, to be sure. Honestly, the professionalism of this guy was being called into question, at this point. He was just grumbling under his breath about having to take on this job alone when he heard someone speak up next to him. He was surprised he hadn't noticed her, at first, especially with how close she was... but he supposed that was to be expected, with his attention fully focused on finding his partner.
"Hiya.~ Cool corsage ya' got there, looks a lot like mine.~"
"Yeah, yeah. Cool, whatever kid," he dismissed, "How about you take your candy apple and find yer-"
Gio was only half paying attention to the kid, trying to shoo her away. However, as he caught the flower in her hair, his heart dropped to the bottom of his stomach, a stern expression coming across his face. He reached up to his ear with one hand, transmitting to J.J. as he looked, unblinking, at this child, wearing a corsage that perfectly matched his own. He raised one finger to the young girl, beckoning her to wait just a moment, as Gio began to speak through clenched teeth.
"J...." Gio probed, his voice dripping with venom, "Did you hire a-"
The laughter that overpowered his speaker ensured he didn't need to finish the question. She knew exactly what she had done. And she knew that it would bother Gio. After a few moments, coupled with the sounds of a fist pounding on a table, and quite a few desperate gasps for air, J.J. seemed to have composed herself, finally revealing exactly what was going on.
"She- she- hahahah~!" J.J. sputtered, before clearing her throat loudly, "She's- hmph! She's more than meets the eye. Probably a bit more competent than you, to be honest."
"She's a kid!" Gio growled.
"She's 16. A professional. And only a couple years younger than me." J.J. snapped back, "Get your shit together."
That last one caught him by surprise... Y'see, despite Gio and J.J.'s history, they never really... talked. They just did their jobs and never bothered to learn more about one another. There was no need. But, if what J.J. said was true... Fuck, was she really younger than this kid when they first got assigned together? That... hrm... that paints a lot of their interactions in a very different light. Yeah. Definitely could understand why she was so squicked out by him calling her "baby"... He was a bit uncomfortable about it, himself, at this point.
Gio shook his head, bringing himself back to reality. He opened his palm to the girl, a small lachryma device in the center of his hand, identical in design to the one in Gio's right ear.
"eL, I presume?" he introduced, "I'm Gee. And Jay will be keeping in touch with us via comms." ((OoC: Sorry this took so long. Been a bit busy this week, hahahah~! But hey, I'm pretty jazzed for this. Did you wanna do one more post of interaction before we go straight into the time-skip into the heist?))
Despite her attempt at transparency, Laelynn seemed to have even accidentally snuck up on Gio, having ignored her corsage and appearance, though for reasons unknown to her.~ Though, as he finally gave a look at her following his dismissive comment, Laelynn only kept up her act, tilting her head in the opposite direction, looking innocently up at Gio as he raised a single finger to her, as if cluelessly questioning what he meant. "Okay, ignore me, that's fine, I can wait.~"
As Gio made contact with J.J, Laelynn merely took another bite of her candy apple, staring at Gio in curiosity, or at least, in first appearances. In reality, she was carefully scanning him up, posture, equipment, and disposition, attempting to make her own assertion on if she wanted to work with them. Though subtle, the innocent puppy dog eyes behind the teenage girl hid her deep intellect, taking in every bit of information she could.~ As Gio and J.J's conversation went on, however, Laelynn, while incapable of hearing the latter's side, caught the gist as Gio called her a kid, her disposition unchanging, except for a minor movement in raising her right eyebrow, and her catty smirk growing.
Eventually, their conversation seemed to end as Gio shook his head, offering an open palm and a Lachryma device, asking about her identity and addressing himself and Jay. In response, however, Laelynn only looked down to the Lacryma, then to "Gee" in an incredulous fashion. "A lachryma? What...no dinosaur steak to go with it?" In a moment, that "innocent girl" facade shattered, as her expression was stern and in disbelief, commenting on how outdated the technology was. Surely, Lachryma device had it's uses and some benefits to regular technology, but Laelynn was biased in that regard.
Yet and still, she would snatch up the device with her left hand and rig it to her right ear, giving a deep sigh. "Yeah, I'm "eL," I'm just wonderin' how ya' know that letter..." After all, normally, Laelynn heavily encrypted her online identity, which made this an unknown territory for her. "Either way, pleasure ta' meet'cha both.~ And just so ya' know, I'm old nuff' ta' drink in Boscan territories, "Gee." Her last comment simultaneously dripped venom as it was used as a taunt after Gio called her a kid, merely taking another bite of her candy apple following up.
"So, what's the run-down? I got tech covered' but curious' what'cha bring to the table yer'selfves.~" Giving a subtle bit of tact, still a quiet voice, yet one not suspiciously so. It wasn't uncommon for mercenaries after all, especially I.M.G members like herself to be in the area, Laelynn was attempting to keep things short and sweet, where they could discuss things without giving too much about their actual "mission" for any possible eavesdroppers, hoping Gio would catch on.
{OOC}No worries dude.~ Likewise pretty hyped for the thread, lol. I was thinking one more post of introduction and then we go to the meat and potatos of the thread, lol. Also, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I think I remember you mentioning J.J. is a tech expert like Laelynn, which is why I added Laelynn questioning how the first letter of her name was obtained. She's normally very secretive in her crime life, lmao. If you want me to adjust anything, please feel free to let me know.~

"Junk-lach's like this are analog." J.J.'s voice crackled, "Or, closest thing to it, these days. If shit goes down, signal's harder to track. Tech's harder to hack."
"Even for people like Jay." Gio chimed in, "Experts in the field."
It was... more or less true. After all, lachryma tech did have a signature. It could be tracked. But only if it was actively in use. The connective threads of the magical device could be followed... but once it was severed, only a mage specialized in Lachryma Manipulation would be able to find the broadcasting device. Meanwhile, traditional tech was far easier. A particularly skilled individual could even recover incriminating data from a damaged or wiped device, long after its connection had been severed. J.J. saw that as a major liability. And even though lachryma tech was far less reliable, more than anything else, the security was paramount. She couldn't afford for anyone to backtrack her devices. She couldn't afford to be found.
"That might answer your other question. B-T-Dubs, IMG could use some minor updates to their servers. Might wanna get on that."
"And as for what I bring to the table? I'm technically your client, today. This is one of my contracts."
J.J. had been planning this score for awhile. What she lacked in resources, she more than made up for in planning. Still, it was hard to get qualified thieves to work for an unknown contractor. So, she had Gio take point... and she had head-hunted Laelynn. Well... more she was looking for anyone who might be able to bring legitimacy to the job, and potentially, someone who needed the money. The merc guild was a prime source to pull from, compared to the Acquisitions Department. Mostly because her peers tended to be up-their-own-ass purists with a superiority complex. She'd floated the job to only a select list of potential employees. And out of the few that had responded, Laelynn was by far the most interesting. It had taken weeks for J.J. to find her name. Who else in IMG could say that? More than anything, 'eL" reminded J.J. of herself. Unfortunately, that included her knack for being snarky.
"At the end of the day, Gee doesn't know shit," she concluded, eliciting a protesting yelp from Gio, "And I don't plan on sharing what I know with anyone else."
"We're all professionals here. And your skills in the field will be invaluable. If I could be there, I would. But because I can't, I need to make sure I'm replaced by someone capable." ((OoC: Sorry it took so long for such a lack-luster post. Sorry again that I didn't post it the other day, and simply forgot it in a tab, alone, but thankfully it's still here~!))
"Yeaah, guess I can't argue that point..." At J.J's description of the device, Laelynn had already figured that was the primary advantage of the Lacryma. Even Laelynn herself, who once broke into Elseima's entire infrastructure and records, really, *really* had no idea how to track the kinds of devices, nor if it was even possible. Circuits, programming, and mechanical engineering were more so her specialty, magic, not so much. Though, ever thirsty for knowledge, she did plan to do research into that field...eventually.~
However, at J.J's follow up remark, Laelynn cursed under her breath, instantly regretting giving her main employers her actual, true name. Maybe it was hubris, maybe it was pride in her heritage, but regardless, she knew now her identity could be found if someone talented dug just deep enough. Maybe it was all a matter of time before other details found their way through the cracks, but that was a future issue for future Laelynn. Focusing on the now, Laelynn cocked her head to the side in curiosity as J.J. mentioned Gio was one of her contracts, having previously thought the duo was the other way around. Though, she couldn't stop a small chuckle as J.J. made a remark at "Gee's" expense, while reassuring that her identity and information were not going to be shared.
"Aaaw, you're gonna' make me blush now.~ I'll see what I can do.~" Stretching out and arching her back in a cat like fashion while snickering at her own slightly sarcastic remark towards J.J's kind words, Laelynn too a deep breath to mentally poise herself for what was to come, having been out of practice since her heyday on Elseima. "So, "Gee," ya' never said yer' story, what bout' you?~ Come'on, let's walk'n'talk, party should be startin' soon right?" With a subtle head nod, Laelynn non verbally asked Gio to lead the way, unaware of the exact direction to their target.
Eventually, their target would come into view though, a hillside mansion on the edges of town, subtle lit with gentle light from the full moon, and the home of an important lord on the agricultural planet, the main entrance rife with upper class guests attempting to get in. From the base information she learned, the lord had placed draconic taxes upon the many farmers of the world, hoarding their ill-obtained wealth for their own luxury.
Tonight, they were hosting their little masquerade as a way to show their wealth, and greatest, newly purchased luxury, the "Harvest Jewel." A diamond hued with many small, exotic, yellow, orange, and brown gemstones within, all forming the shape of leaves, a truly remarkable geographic rarity, and the perfect harvest festival decoration to display during their "grand unveiling." If only they knew that it'd be swiped out from under their noses by the end of the night, and maybe some credits too if the crew got so lucky.~
{OOC}No worries dude, I'm excited to thread but in no huge rush, I liked the post. I was hoping to push the plot a bit further but kind of wanted to post sooner than later, lol. I figured I could at least give a general idea for the setting and the Macguffin that is to be pilfered, I thought it was a cool idea, lol.

"Not much to tell," Gio responded, "Used to work alone. Got tired of people trying to make me look pretty. Now I work for Jay."
The scars on his face were hard to miss, even with his mask on. No doubt Laelynn had noticed them the moment she'd laid eyes on him. In the years they had worked together, though, J.J. had made sure that Gio didn't get into a situation like that again. The Acquisitions Department did a good job on intel, and that was all thanks to people like J.J. Though, really, it wasn't exactly honest to say that Gio worked for her, even if that's how J.J. normally made it feel. In truth, they were partners, but in the end, it didn't really matter.
"We're in good hands." Gio continued, "She's one of the best."
J.J.'s voice crackled onto the comm, "Aw, Gee~ How sweet."
As they approached, J.J. gave them a quick rundown of the op. They knew the location. They knew the target. They knew the security. And they knew their point of entry. J.J. had managed to get her hands on an invitation. After a bit of forgery, Gio had an invite of his own: Vincent Gabbiani plus one. And to that end, Laelynn would be acting as his daughter. Or bodyguard. Honestly, in the world they lived in, either would be easily accepted. Of course, if she had a problem with that, J.J. also put forward an alternative. But it would require trudging through the sewer to bypass the walls. Not exactly ideal.
"Right. Radio silence and comms off until you get inside. Don't want any magic detectors going off on the connection."
Gio joined alongside the nobles who were waiting, mortified, outside the gates. Gio chuckled at the sight. This lot didn't normally have to wait for much of anything. Now, they were going stir-crazy, as each was checked, in turn. Weapons didn't seem to be a problem. These were all powerful people, with paranoia to match, so protection wasn't an issue. It was accepted that each of them would have some sort of weapon on-hand, in case of magic-users run wild. What they were really looking for were ongoing magical effects: glamours, mostly. It was of utmost importance that no one was disguised as someone else. Still, anything the guards found would be subject to scrutiny. A man up ahead seemed to be coated in a protective sheen, not dissimilar to Gio's Blind Man's Bluff, a scanning tool beeping loudly as it passed over him. Regardless, Gio had no weapons, only the cards concealed in his sleeves, but he had no doubt that the kid was strapped to the nines. He just hoped she was smart enough to know what to hide and what to reveal.

Laelynn cocked her head at Gio's brief response, curious on if "people trying to make them look pretty" meant metaphorically, or literally in reference to their scars. Though, considering the line of work both were currently involved in, both didn't seem to be out of the question. Regardless, it would be unprofessional to ask for details in their line of work, and the prize was all that mattered.
"Yep, yep, course.~" Fidgeting with her earpiece briefly, quite inexperienced with lacrymas and their machinations, Laelynn eventually managed to toggle the piece off. Though, the idea of a magic sensor interested her, yet, made sense a back water planet would be more fearful of the lost arts than the more common tech.
Having previously brushed her hair back to better cover the ear piece, Laelynn was more than prepared as they arrived, the large crowd of irritated rich snobs slowly being funneled into the mansion. So many credits to take, yet, so little time.~ Eventually, Laelynn found herself face to face with the bouncer of sorts, shining with a strange protective layer and a scanner for finding weapons and presumably active magic. Yet, that meant nothing to Laelynn, the beeping alert reporting nothing abnormal. In reality, except for lacryma provided by Gio and J.J, everything she held was linked directly to her suit, and that was always stored in a pocket dimension unless it was needed.
That said, Laelynn was quickly given the good to go, following "Gee" into the mansion, greeted with fancy, ornate decorations, marble statues, soft, yet elegant lighting, and a myriad of various high society jackasses enjoying different harvest based confections and treats at the snack table, while Laelynn couldn't wait for them to realize the grand unveiling would be a no-show.~
Though, for a brief moment, yet subtly, Laelynn's eyes drifted up and down, musing where their prize lay. Most of the time people like this who selfishly hoarded their wealth had a vault, some place to hide their various wealth and favorite showpieces. In truth, she hoped it'd be a second story job, an underground job being far more troublesome to coordinate. Though, with that info yet to be disclosed, Laelynn ever so discreetly turned her earpiece back on, disguising the motion under the guise of a simple head scratch.
{OOC}Sorry for the delay in posting, kind of got a bit busy and had writers block. Also maybe spent too much time on Fortnite's first day of the new season, lol. As a random note, think I'mma edit my first post later tonight to redact the harvest dress Laelynn has, I rather like the arty thing I got for her, lol.
Gio did his best to blend in. And given the ostentatious method of his normal attire, it seemed... he wouldn't have a difficult time. There were plenty of different styles of dress at the event, of course. Some were high-ups in the local government, dressed in their finest clothes, some of which denoted rank and purpose. Others were business men and women alike, who helped this backwater township stay somewhat relevant, wearing finely-crafted suits and dresses. And some were simply old money, wearing whatever insanely expensive, gaudy piece of cloth that a perfunctory glance around their chateau might have found for them.
The music was... passable. Not quite classical, but about as rigid and structured as could be expected from such an event. It was there to break the silence, not necessarily be listened to. And while many had taken to dancing, even more were huddled in small groupings, hob-nobbing and laughing about some rich person joke that Gio was too poor to understand. Honestly, to him, it just sounded cruel... but he supposed that was why J.J. had chosen this party. This place. It was because the people here were, in a word, terrible. And stealing from them wouldn't stamp on either of their senses of justice. As far as the girl? Well, Gio didn't know if she had such scruples... but honestly it didn't matter. She was here for the job.
Gio procured a glass of- what was this, champagne- from a server passing by, held daintily as he scanned the room, looking for their points of egress. According to the intel Jak had procured, the host of the evening would be showing off his trinket halfway through the evening. Meaning that there were two ways to go about this little heist: hit it fast and hard, procuring the Harvest Jewel from the vault, slinking away before the theft was discovered... or they could wait until after the reveal and ambush them as they returned the gem to lockup. Both had their advantages. For one, an ambush would mean that they wouldn't have to worry about bypassing any security measures. Still, a sneaky approach would, potentially, allow them to leave the party undetected.
Gio was sipping his- ew, sparkling grape juice?- when the thought arose, the gentleman thief clicking on his earpiece once more, catching the tail end of what Gio assumed was J.J. explaining the situation to their new hire. Still, there were two possible locations for where the Jewel would be stored. In The Vault, beneath the manor, or stored in the Art Gallery on the second floor. Unfortunately, the details on that particular piece of information weren't exactly clear. So, before they could carry out their plan, they'd either need to find someone who knew, or scope out at least one of the locations... And, presumably, the gallery would be the easiest to deal with.
"-oth options are viable. Play to your strengths, and whatever you do, don't reveal yourself before you have eyes on the target."
"Well, I believe it's about time for me to hob-nob with some of my lessers~" Gio crooned, haughtily "Do try not to get lost, yes?"
And, leaving Laelynn to her own devices, Gio moved to join the party, attempting to find information the old-fashioned way: chatting to up-their-own-ass nobles and bastards of importance. If there was one thing that the rich and powerful liked to do, it's gossip. And Gio intended to make good use of that.
{OoC}yeah. You ain't the only one. Been a busy week for me. Keep coming home and more or less instantly passing out. I have the rest of today and tomorrow off, though, so I can do some quick-fire posting to get a bit further in, if you wanted.
Though perhaps not ideal, the dress Laelynn had donned for the heist wasn't too out of place surprisingly as she took note of the diverse, yet consistently "proper" attire many donned. Though, this was a mixed blessing as Laelynn struggled to mentally adjust, this occasion being the first time she had worn a dress in over a decade. Yet and still, a little indignation could easily be cured with a fat stack of credits, which was her main goal. G and J could do what they wanted with the gem for all she cared, stuff like the jewel were only useful if you had a good fence, and she'd rather have her cut directly.
Making her way to the snack table with Gio, Laelynn noted the brief summary and update J provided, and though listening, her attention was heavily divided. While Gio had gone for the refreshments, Laelynn immediately went to the assorted fancy cheese and meats skewer together with toothpicks. Certainly not a meal, but a chance to try some of the fancier things in life for free, and a quick snack for energy.~ Though, as she went for her first bite, she froze at the notice of various small paper signs, each noting the type and age of each cheese upon their respective plates. "...Why the hell do these cheeses sound like a sneeze or a unit of measurement...?" She whispered ever so quietly, attempting to read, and barely pronounce in her head some of the names. Roquefort? Teleggio? Manchego? Laelynn couldn't get it, but this was one of the reasons she disliked most rich elites. Always so pretentious, always having to make everything in glare and sparkles to satisfy their desperate egos. Just have the damn cheeses out without noting their fancy names, geez.
Yet and still, a free snack was a free snack, so she immediately went to sampling, J ending on the note of their two possible options, to stick to their strong suits, and keep discreet until the time was right. "Mmmmm.~" Subtly giving her confirmation in between a bite of cheese, as to not raise unneeded suspicious by too many words, a little smirk grew on her face. After all, avoiding detection and suspicion was her specialty.~ "Alright.~ No promises on that one.~" She playfully remarked to Gio in response to him telling her to not get lost, tilting her head sporting an innocent smile. In truth, she did slightly enjoy making people question her credibility.~
A few cheese bites, crackers, and mini meat chunks later, starting her end a tad later than Gio, Laelynn moved onto her part. With G doing the ground work and J coordinating the operation, Laelynn figured breaking security would be in her department. At first, a question in her mind, then, an answer as she noted the various "hidden" cameras around the mansion that her trained eyes could spot. From there, she went to action, asking around the crowds as to where the ladies room was, all in the pompous way she'd be expected to act as a "proper young lady." Eventually, she was directed to the restroom, private, of course, as the rich snobs would find a public one too low brow, and that, was the owners first mistake.
Less than a few minutes later, she was already out the window, scaling up to the second story of the mansion, tightly clinging to the walls and minding her angles to avoid detection from outside cameras, though the long dress instead of her normal, form fitting attire did complicate this. A quick click of a lock release later, and she slinked her way past the closest window. A rushed decision, to be sure, but her instincts told her the security center would be on the second floor, somewhere harder to infiltrate, and her instincts were, as she liked to say..."cat like." Checking her area and listening quietly down the hallways to ensure she was clear, she clicked on her ear piece, opening her side of transmission and speaking ever so quietly.
"L here, second floor, going to try and work on the cameras. Any updates?~"
{OOC}No worries dude, I can definitely try to do some rapid fire tomorrow, not sure how late it is where you are right now. I would have done more this post but didn't want to drop a word nuke on ya', lmao. Figured Laelynn can handle the security next post while Gio collects intel.
