Brave Galaxy is set in a world loosely based on Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail and Eden’s Zero. It is a PG-13 or so rated space fantasy RP, and uses a combination of character statistics, which can be acquired via roleplaying and events, and creative freedom to help direct players’ characters. While there is a main storyline, which can be found in the events section, characters are free to interact with others and their environment however they see fit.
Explore the galaxy. Overcome the obstacles in your path. Shape the future of humanity.
Name: Hermes' Demon Key Class: D Description: A small key-like object, the Demon Key doesn't seem capable of opening any traditional locks. The dark metal seems more akin to a small, stylized knife than anything used for security. A purple material with a similar appearance to polished gemstone details the "key", running down the shank, past the collar, into the pin and key wards, and embellishing the bow with dual designs of a skull and the smiling maw of an extra-planar beast. It seems to have some connection to the Rousseau Clan.
The Demon Key opens portals by slashing through the air, creating a roughly door-sized, oval shape which appears to be made of purple flames. When viewed from the entrance/exit side, the portal's interior appears to be a starry void, similar to space, but with a noticeable purple tinge. Meanwhile, from the other side, the interior of the portal is completely transparent, looking to be nothing more than a ring of "Void-Fire".
Effect: Holder Item (former);
Rank 1: Short-range (5m) portal-based teleportation. 10 Reaction Speed. Portal appears within arm's reach of the caster. Portal automatically closes after a creature, person or object passes through it from the direction of the caster. Objects entering from the opposite side of the portal pass through as if it was not there. Once the portal closes, the creature, person or object is ejected from another portal which appears within the range of the spell's effect, at the same speed which it entered the portal. (DUR: 1, CD: 4)
You'll need to mention that opening the portal is done with a reaction speed of 10, otherwise it looks good.
Ah, I figured that the reaction speed was based on "instantaneous" teleportation. I just thought that, since it was creating a physical portal, as opposed to blinking her between two spots, I should not include that.
That being said, clearly that's not the case, and I'll make the adjustment
